Yao overrated... thats the typical ignorant comment.

And i don't think Kidd is over rated, since 1 year ago people don't rate him as a top3/4 PG in the league.

IMO Kidd is kinda overrated , he is not a scoring threat at all these days.
He is worse than Rafer scoring.

That's a pretty bad list.... two of the players on the list are in the finals. I don't know how you can call Yao overrated, he's arguably the best C in the league.

The author doesn't even know Pau Gasol's name (spelling it Pao), so I wouldn't take this article too seriously.

so Yao is overrated because he's too slow for lateral movement?
who expect 7'6" 310 lbs man to have a quick lateral movement?

anyway
that's a pretty bad list
Lewis is not overrated he just got overpaid by Magic
he still is what he was

The most overrated center in the league is Andrew Bynum.

My overrated team...

PG: Jason Kidd: still considered a top 5 pg, but i dont even think hes top 10.
SG: Vince Carter: Athletic, but hes not a winner at all. he doesnt have any impact on big games
SF: Luol Deng: alot of promise every year, and every year im still waiting to see it.
PF: Dirk Nowitzki: Steve Nash, Michael Finley, Antawn Jamison, Antoine Walker, Jerry Stackhouse, Devin Harris, Josh Howard, Jason Terry, Jason Kidd have all been his teammates at some point, and dirk has still not acoomplished anything. ive never seen a player with so many great teams not do anything with it.

I would agree with this list, excpet for Deng. As a Bulls fan, he's not so much overrated, per se, is that he has definately underachieve. As for Bynum, he wasn't even rated before the yr, so he can't really be considered "overrated" until he prove otherwise. But Kidd/Carter/Dirk are clearly overrated without question. Deng and Bynum still have the opportunity to improve their games.

LOL
Yao has no business being on the overrated team. Yao and Dwight are the only respectable centers in the league anymore. They are leaps and bounds ahead of anyone else, how can Yao be overrated? If you say you don't want Yao on your team because of injury risks, that's fine with me, but he is not overrated as far as his basketball skills.

Allen is overrated though. I don't care if he is in the finals, he's had a sub par playoffs and just has not been anywhere close to the player he used to be.

Bynum is 20 years old, give the kid some time. He was plyaing well earlier on the year, so I wouldn't throw him on that list yet. I do agree, he got a lot of praise for pretty much putting the same numbers Dwight put on his rookie year which is ridiculous since this is his 3rd year.

i mean with the all-star crowded U.S. team losing in int'l games and all, the big shows of NBA do look a little cheap right? it's funny when they make the champion rings they'd write "world champion"!!!

SF Rudy Gay (He still disappears in the 4th quarter)

The guy just finished his second season in the NBA, relax a little.

Moofs All-Overrated Team:
pg: Allen Iverson/Chauncey Billups
sg: Jerry Stackhouse
sf: Carmelo Anthony (sorry, Denver)
pf: Ben Wallace
c: not really fair since there are no notable c's in the league to overrate, which I'm sure is why they picked Yao (lack of alternate options)

Moofs All-Overpaid Team:
pg: Larry Hughes / Stephon Marbury / Steve Francis (see: Finley)
sg: Wally Szcerbiak / Michael Finley (remember he's on the books with two teams) / Bobby Simmons
sf: Rashard Lewis
pf: Ben Wallace / Kenyon Martin / Jermaine O'Neal / Zach Randolph
c: Erica Dampier / Troy Murphy / Shaq (sad) / Raef LaFrentz

(really hard to leave many of those players out of there, but I'd shoot out Francis, Finley (both cost their current teams very little), Murphy (produces), LaFrentz (valuable when he comes off the books), and Randolph (technically produces) first - Shaq, Lewis, Wallace, O'Neal Jr., and Marbury are required though)
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor
