Clippers targeting Augustin with 7th pick?
From draftexpress
Is 7th a Reach for Augustin?
In desperate need of help at the point guard position, and with D.J. Augustin in their sights holding the 7th overall pick, the Clippers are pondering whether to pull the trigger on the extremely productive sophomore playmaker from Texas. Augustin will clearly be the best point guard on the board, but may be a bit of a reach where they are selecting. Workouts will play a big role in the decision of Elgin Baylor and key decision maker Mike Dunleavy Sr. They will also likely nab a big man with the 35th pick.
Adding interest is the fact that Augustin has reportedly decided to hire Thad Foucher of Los Angeles-based agency Wasserman Media Group as his representation. Foucher is from Augustin

Apparently Westbrook was great in the drills. His athleticism is off the charts. DJ Augustin had a fantastic workout to and his offensive production was great. So that's good news.

If we take one of the point guards, I hope it's Augustin. He kind of reminds me of Derek Jeter. I also have faith that Augustin of all prospects we have a shot at in the draft is the most ready to step in from day one and help the Clippers make a playoff push. I don't have the patience to wait on Westbrook, and the Clippers certainly can't afford to waste time. All I can say is that it's going to be an interesting draft.

Cassell lacks that lockdown D and I'll give credit to the kid he can D up an opponent.
I'm talking about ball-handling specifically. If you think Sam I Am is a good ball-handler and has great moves, think otherwise (watch the playoffs and notice how people put pressure on him when he's dribbling up the court).
Westbrook will be a great player in the pros.

Dude's been in the leagus since the mid 90's and his clutch play obviously means that his handles must be above average. Think about all the teams that he's led or rode deep in the postseason (i.e. Rockets, Bucks, Wolves, Clippers and now Boston)
