you had trouble beating the hawks. It just drives me crazy, that was the first round they forget we beat DET in 6 and have finally won not one but two road games.

On a side note, I think it was tougher to play in ATL than LA, in ATL those fans were going crazy and soo loud every night, now Im not saying anything about the fans but LA just seems more quiet when Ive seen there playoff games, I also think the Celtics play down or up to the competition as we saw in the DET series, this series should be a barnburner

the games in Atl were close. they were not in boston. people are playing that series to death and they obviously didnt watch the games.

atl never had a chance in boston and the games in atl were close and we didnt even birng the intensity we had at home.

but they have to play up something to make the clets look like huge underdogs.

Chauncey Billups was Injured and was no where NEAR 100%
Rip Hamilton hurt his arm in game 4

To need to push a game 7 with the Hawks and the Cavs who are just a 1 player team is prettty ridiculous. (Especially with the amount of Talent that boston has)

The Lakers are a legit team, Congrats you beat detroit in 6 when their 2 best players were injured.

I honestly think (and hope) the Lakers win...If Boston is going to beat LA...Ray Allen needs to continue his good shooting from the passed 2 games..and Rondo needs to step it up.

Posey/Pierce and company need to find an answer for Kobe too (which i dont see happining)

Would like to see if they try the same thing they tried with Lebron defensive wise...They cant do that because Kobe has other weapons...Im not sure if Boston will win...Very good team...and i know im a knicks fan so my opinion is automatcially swayed away from boston..lol ..but just saying my 2c

And how many people are forgetting that you guys beat Detroit? didnt that happen like...14 hours ago? lol

Edit: Please dont take this comment as trolling, i'm not trying to start anything....yes i know the knicks suck...i sense that coming...whatever...Im just saying my 2c because its the Finals

No offense Ricky, but do you really think Boston deserves big props for taking 6 games to beat a banged up Detroit team and winning 3 road games in the playoffs?

Um yes they were 0-6 on the road prior to that not only did they get a huge one in game 3 but they were able to close the series out in game 6. Billups looked hurt the first and maybe second game but looked pretty damn close to 100% the rest of the series plus there was no way in hell Hamilton was hurt, well unless he plays the same hurt as he does 100%

Non sense.

1. Richard Hamilton was not that hurt, if at all.
2. Billups felt fine the last two games.... which they lost.
3. LA, was anyone on San Antonio banged up? Maybe a nice player from Argentina?

Excuses. The C's earned their trip to the finals.

LA fans criticizing us for beating a team with a hurt player, when they did the same, except they did it two on one.... Lakers and Zebras, vs. Spurs. Mad props to the Spurs for being classy, they got jobbed in that series.

I don't take any of it as trollish, I just take it as being dumb.

Billups looked real hurt when he almost dropped 30 last night. And Hamilton looked like his career might be over based on the horrible performance he had last night in the 1 game he played "injured" this series.

Keep the crap about the Celtics coming, guys. It's been happening since draft day, and it's made every step of the way much sweeter. It might seem like we don't like you, but in fact we love you.

1.Glad you know how he felt (Any source?)
2. Again, glad you know Billups wasn't injured...because i saw every game..he sure didn't look 100% to me
3. Hmmn...Pretty sure Kobe was banged up too...Whats your point?

No doubt the C's earned their trip...no doubt about that...but you guys shouldnt be talking trash after going 7 with ATL and 7 With the Clevland Lebrons

Also to the guy who said that Detroits best player is Rasheed...What are you on crack? that was a joke right? Rasheed is like..the fourth option on that team...

LMFAO....if you call ONE call not being made having the "zebras" on the Lakers side...then you are a moron. (BTW that was a good no call IMO)

Did you watch any of those games? how many times exactly did Kobe go to the Free throw line?

I just remember seeing Tim Duncan at the free throw line and bricking free throw after free throw.

I'll agree that I think Boston has been playing better all throughout the playoffs and the 7 game series against atl and cle were really just outliers. But to call the series a barn burner is an insult to LA. Sure you beat det, a pretty good team in 6 games. LA has beat the defending champs and utah, a team that has the 2nd best point differential in the regular season. I think I'm not being facetious when I say many people consider those two teams top 5 caliber teams and La beat them.

I've said this before, it's hard to argue against point differentials - boston had an amazing point differential in the regular season, the highest in the league. LA has the highest in the playoffs, with boston 2nd. To call the series a barn burner, isn't that a little off? cmon, I think you can stand to give LA a little more credit and I think you can stand to give people who think LA to be the better team a little more credit than just one liners dismissing anything they have to say.

The problem with arguing that Billups and Hamilton were hurt is that they were the two most effective players for Detroit in Game 6. Pierce effectively shut down Prince and KG/Perk silenced Rasheed.

That argument would have a little more validity if Billups and Hamilton didn't combine for 50 points

chauncey didnt look injured nor played like it.

rip didnt look hurt either and didnt play like it.

atlanta was never in that series. they got blown out every celtic home game and never had a chance to take the series lead because of that. all games in atlanta were close cept for maybe one game at the end.

didnt the cavs win 4 in a row to win over detroit ? oh ya!

lakers are as legit as the Celtics.

ray allen does need to shoot well. first good point but not a secret.

we played kobe this season that didnt seem to be a problem.

Boston has weapons too, incase you didnt hear about it. :)

Rip was hurt? He looked pretty good He shot 9-14 from the field and one of those misses was a wide open 3 at the end of the game.
