Yea, i also dont think you understand some of these players mentalities. How can you say for a fact that McCants would be comfortable in the 6th man role for an entire season, playing behind someone who is younger and perhaps has more flair than you. McCants wants to be a starter, as does everyone who gets drafted into the NBA, you dont shoot to be a backup, you shoot for stardom.

I just dont see McCants being cool coming off the bench for an entire year, 6th man or not.

A three man guard rotation of Mayo, McCants, and Foye is actually very nice. I love it. They all make up for where the others are weak.

Then you have the two man rotation at the small forward, of Gomes and Brewer.

Now it's just a matter of getting 3 guys to fill the post positions, we have one so far(Jefferson), so two more to go.

I was at one time, but if we draft Mayo, I'm no longer interested in moving McCants, just interested in letting Telfair go.

Our 2 seconds, expirings of Walker/Buckner, and the two future picks of Celtics/Heat, plus the MLE should all be used to bring in bigs to round out the roster.

Jaric of course is the glue guy holding down perimeter minutes during injury, foul trouble, or poor games.
