Probably about the same it had on Kwame Brown. :D

The only real reason there was ever talk of Artest to NY is because it was thought Isaiah wanted him, and even Isaiah publicly refused to trade young assets for him. Now that Donnie Walsh (with his own Artest history) is there instead, the odds that the Kings can get something like the #6 for Ron are pretty much zero.

Pistons aren't giving up Stuckey

How about Sheed's expiring, Maxiell and #29 for Randolphs contract and #6?

New York could free up $13,000,000 towards their goal of Lebron or Wade and they get Zach off the books. They get Maxiell in return for swapping picks to even it out for Detroit.

#6 + Eddy Curry + Jared Jeffries

for

TJ Ford + Andrea Bargnani

Knicks dump two bad contracts, and get two young players. TJ plays a similar style to Nash (but without the 3-pointer), and would be a great PG for D'Antoni's system. Bargs seems like he'd be a good fit for D'Antoni's system as well.

Raps draft a young wing with the pick (probably Gallinari, Gordon or Anthony Randolph), and Curry + Rasho could be a bandaid fix at C until we get something better.

I just can't see Bargnani being able to handle NY...and I can speak for about 98.44% of Knick fans, the last thing we want to listen to is Clyde Frazier pronouncing Bargnani's name every game in and game out for the entire season. It's like listening to someone scratching a chalkboard with a pitchfork. :D
