Nice video. I missed a lot of his play time this year, and since that video was like 5 minutes thats like what, half of his total time for the year? (Heh corny joke, I'm sorry)

No he doesn't. He is our future point guard, not now, but later when Baron leaves.
Someday we should try Mikael at point, he might turn out to be the next best PG if he is given a shot.

No, Monta is total crap at point guard and can never take over for the great Hall of Famer Baron Davis. Not even if Baron gets hurt. We're completely screwed forever without Baron Davis. Return of the drought.

Oh. We missed the playoffs?

We missed the playoffs because Pietrus got hurt which didn't have that "spark" off the bench. Not because of PG spot.

Damn he is so athletic at 6'9.

Loved the block against Kevin Durant.

Brandon needs to be starting next season. They can send both Al and Jack packing for all I care.

A few quotes from the ODB and his adherents:

1) No shot blockers - True, especially when they're sitting on the bench (pretty hard to block shots when you're not in the game).

2) Brandon has no outside shot - Looks like a nice little "J" to me.

3) Too weak, gets pushed around too easily - I'd say he didn't get "pushed around" too much by Josh Smith.

Did you see how high his arm gets over the rim? Wait until Beans comes back next year with a short range jumper. BW can shoot not only midrange but is capable of long range (see some of the old videos posted by LF alias "the squid") where he was busting 3s. I hope he works on his J this offseason as well. Those two guys CAN play together, despite what the ODB says. Having both Baron and Monta feeding those two guys would give us an even more complete offense and hopefully eliminate many of those long chuckers. It's just up to the ODB to implement it.

Oh, and they included his 20 second insert to give the fould to Shaq. What was the ODB trying to do, get him maimed for life? Priceless. Reminded me of Phil Jackson when he was a player and the old Mike "Give One" Riordan.

Wright needs to develop a three point shot like Bosh in order to become effective.

One thing about Wright I've noticed - he doesn't seem to notice/care if he's getting pushed around. He keeps banging. And due to his great balance, he caught a few of those players off guard and got a great shot off.

He's addressed everybody's perceived weaknesses on him, and still gets minimal burn. That's unbelievable.

Wright led the NCAA in FG % as a freshman playing in the top college league. Range? We got. I like him for EFFICIENCY which we often lacked. I'd rather he adds 15 lb at a pace where he stays quick and gets better with the 15 ft J.

no....having SOME beef won't bust a knee. Karl Malone played at 250-270 for a lotta years. He dished out much more damage than he got.

You CAN NOT be a really effective NBA PF at 205 lb. You can be usable. Wright was at least that. At even 220 lb...you don"t get pushed around by strong SGs. MOST NBA PF's are 240-250,with some bigger and a few a bit lighter but 205? That's a SKINNY SF.

Wright has VERY nicely adapted to life as a POWER F without much power. Unfortunately....Nellie NOW is like Nellie act one-but much more so.

Real life,Harrington and Wright are both SF/PF tweeners. The only "classic" PF we have is Biedrins-but we need him at C.

We have been outboarded by 10-20 OFTEN in the past 2 years. Us being +5 on the boards has been rare-but usually was a win.

So....what is MISSING HERE? If you said "more 3 pt chuckers" you repeat the 7th grade. :wavefinger:

FAST is good but there's a point where more adds zip and you need to look at the trade offs.
