By you, I would take Bird over Magic. I think he was the more dominate player, the guy you can go to in crunch time too. He was also a better defender.

I know there are A LOT of them, but don't confuse bitter Laker/Celtic haters on RealGM with "most people"

Lakers! I don't know why they are shoving Lebron down our throats when Kobe is already the man.

I think this series is going 7.... at first I was predicting Lakers in 7 because of Boston's road troubles, but they managed to get two games in Detroit so my fears about that have subsided a bit. I think it all depends on the bench play really... Im still leaning towards the Lakers. I like both teams so Id rather see Boston win this year as the Lakers have a more open window.

I really want PP, KG, And Allen to get a championship..

But for some wild reason I think the Lakers got this series.

Lakers in six.

Just because you were a member earlier than most of us and that you have 23549823 post does not make you a bigger fan than we are. Actually I suspect that you only joined the bandwagon after their 2nd championship in 2001. I've been a fan since I was 8 in 88.

People cant make up their minds. If Pistons/Spurs are in the finals its absolutely boring and cant watch tv, if its Lakers/Celtics its bad because theyre big markets. Its gonna be the most entertaining and watched finals since, well, forever.

I'm on the Beat LA side, go Celtics. Pierce, Garnett and Allen deserve a ring.

Gonna go with LA.

Not because of any vindictive desire to see the team that eliminated mine go down, but rather out of respect for Kobe.

Who's gonna handle the Nba Finals coverage? I wish they'd bring back NBC.

I think the Celtics are gonna win this. HCA is big but it all depends on game 1.

I picked the Lakers since I am from the West Coast and Boston isn't on the West Coast. If Boston was I'd still pick the Lakers.
Go team! (The one I want to win, preferably)
