I need the last month and next two months summarised

Post#1 » by auslurch » Thu May 29, 2008 1:44 pm

Okay living in OZ with only Sportscentre to go by for the last six months without internet access has made me lose a little perspective on where we really stand.
So i would like anybody to have a shot at summerising our last month (obviously i know we missed the playoffs) and the next couple leading into pre-season. If i had money i would award prizes but i don't so the winners will have to live with my gratitude.
Thanks

Ouch, thanks for the love..

I had done that, but i had thought that someone may have taken the opportunity to give a nice summary of the finish to the season and the lead in to the draft.

No dramas though.

Mikael Pietrus goes down with injury making warriors lose the 8th spot and missing the playoffs. That is basically it. We got 14 in draft. Also, Stephen Jackson sucks and Monta has cooled off that month of February he had. Baron also sucked and caused drama as he got benched in a game the entire quarter. Jackson had a lot of games that he goes 2 of 17 or worse, and loves to chuck. His latest chucking ability is stepping inside the three point line and trying to make his opponent to commit and shoot a jumper thinking he can make it, but over 80% of the time he misses. Also, when Jackson doesn't go his way, we end up playing 4 on 5 defense because Jackson is on the other side complaining.

Well that is pretty much everything...

Dude actually that was pretty much what i was looking for. If i had to go continually by box scores, Jax didn't look too bad.. But numbers lie unfortunately otherwise Chris Gatling would be an all-star. Ooppssss well you see what i mean.
I have read up a bit more and apparantly the majority on site do not seem opposed to a trade of B-Diddy. Three years ago Warrior fans seemed to love any player with talent, i think it is a sign that we expect more and understand that we may need to move a very good player (and lose some hype) if we can become a better team.
