Just a bit of an update rem, but I remember Wright clocking in at 210-215 at some point in the season... the '205' label has been shed. If he comes into camp at 215-220, I wonder what excuse we'll get this year from Nellie.

He's addressed everybody's perceived weaknesses on him, and still gets minimal burn. That's unbelievable.

Nellie brings some nice ++++ and some ugly -------

We got some gains but assuming Nellie is still the stubborn zealot, the package is a mixed bag. Very frustrating.
Just the same- Nellie creates a winning mindset and a "no slackers here' attitude. That's pretty special. Next step---the next coach - without Nellie's serlf imposed roadblocks.

Then we retain the GOOD stuff from Nelle and discard all the garbage..just like Dallas did.

addressing another thread........nobody HATES on Nellie. He's the Poster child for frustration.

I WANT Nellie to tear up the NBA in his last shot.

The Old Dumb Bastard DOES need a reality check before that happens . He COULD do it but will he?

Cool.

I think Nellie plays a 220 lb Be Right who's also added some dues paid.

One thing to keep in mind here guys, there are some skinny guys who are able to play against the big boys although very rare. Wright may be one of the 1 in a 1000 or who can do so. It's pretty hard to hit someone if they have the uncanny ability (instinct) to get out of the way. I've noticed that about BWright. His incredible wingspan allows him to outrebound guys (especially the bulkier ones) by just jumping over them. He can avoid the hits just by moving aside and then out leaping them. His speed and quickness maybe able to compensate for his lack of girth while he physicallly matures. Beans is actually much the same way. Here's a guy who on any given night can grab 15 rebounds but is outlikely going to be outweighed by just about every guy he plays against (that is two guys as well). It's amazing what speed, quickness and knowing how to position yourself can make all the difference in the world. I really didn't see Wright get muscled too bad (and that was even when Nellie had him playing center :banghead: ). He really gets down on the break and Nellie doesn't really care about defense and rebounding anyway. I'm sure he can bang just as hard as Barnes and Bukie at the 4.

i dont think Wright was ready last season...i hope he is busting his ass and working for the starting job though so Al can win the 6th man of the year award and gain some trade value.
Lets Go Baron Davis...i dont care what jersey you put on. Lets go.
Big Smooth is focused and ready to handle the centers of the league.
Curry and Ellis will be a top 5 back court this season. 6/25/2010
