Bryant isn't 30 yet, and is considered one of the best active players in the league.
Gasol and Odom are nothing special? Both rank amongst the best at their respective positions, are still fairly young, and play in a system that highly compliments their skill set.
Add the legendary Phil Jackson, and a deep/talented bench; and you're looking at a team prepped to make history next season.
