This is even more brutal than your last attempt:
Mayo > Lopez
McCants = 22nd pick
Future heat pick > 2009 top-20 protected
#31 and #34 > nothing
WTF??!!?
exactly. if we trade down it shouldn't start with McCants as a throw in for no real upgrade.

***#31 was a typo***
Still, I am going to make the trade awesom-o
Lopez because I know McHale is going to pick Lopez (I am 99% sure of it). I know fans support Mayo because they believe he is the BPA. McHale won't pick him.
McCants is not enough to grab #22, I will even ask the Orlando Magic thread and I believe they will all say no (please don't add anything on their forum, I just want the Magic fans opinion).
Ignore the Lopez - Mayo debate. If the Wolves are determined to pick Lopez, is the trade fair (ignoring the Lopez Mayo part of the deal).

Are you frickin serious? I can't begin to show my disgust for how bad this is for minnesota. There is no way you are gettting beasley for that garbage.
If we want we can trade into the first round with any number of teams using any number of our assets besides the 3rd overall pick.
FYI: You don't trade down and then give up even more assets just to pick up two worthless late 1st rounders.
We can probably have #22 for mccants and #34.
The most Miami will get in a trade down is a late 1st/early 2nd, and their pick is far more valuable than that at this point. Chicago didn't even get an early 2nd when they traded down for tyrus thomas 2 years ago. Any team hoping for something big in a trade down for anyone not named Derrick Rose is going to be extremely disappointed.

I'm 99% sure Joakim Noah wants the NBA to expand to Amsterdam.
I'm 99% sure you're talking out of your ass.
Or wait, are you the guy who knits McHale's Cosby sweaters?
I better pipe down, I might be talking to an insider.
Bottom line is the team is losing tons of money. Mayo sells tickets, Lopez doesn't.
One other little bit of info: McHale no longer has the pull within the organization he used to. If Hoiberg and the others disagree with him strongly enough Taylor will listen to them. Hoiberg also spends much more time on the draft than McHale. Chances are McHale hasn't even seen Mayo in person. Hoiberg's expertise is guards, McHale's is big men, it makes sense for them to scout players within their area of expertise.
The first 2 players we are bringing in are Lopez and Love. Who are all the rumors about McHale liking? Lopez and Love. You don't send out info you like guys and then make them the first 2 guys you bring in unless you are setting up a big fat smokescreen.
I can see the front office being afraid enough of Beasley's attitude/defense issues to see him as a riskier pick than Mayo. In my opinion all this Lopez/Love talk is to keep Miami from realizing we prefer Mayo over Beasley and then taking Mayo and making us cough up a draft pick to swap picks. MOH, the KFAN Insider, said his source told him straight out: If Beasley or Rose fall they are the immediate pick. I'm not dumb enough not to realize he is probably being spoonfed exactly the info the front office wants out there.
It makes sense to disclose that:
A. the front office is split
and
B. Beasley/Rose are without a doubt 1/2 on our board.
All of this keeps us from being leveraged by Miami (what do you think all the Mayo to Miami rumors are really for, Beasley clearly is the best player for that franchise, with no one on the roster other than wade who can score inside 15 feet). If they think we might take lopez, they think twice about trying to pull a "foye" on us and take Mayo, because Seattle will grab Beasley at 4 and not look back. If they think we'd be happy with Beasley, there's no way they risk that on a hunch.
My advice is to start getting excited with a galinari/randolph/lopez/jordan debate at 5 and quit putting up worthless trades where Memphis lucks into Mayo at 5.

You're not providing any new info here, just your 99% hunches.
I am just going to continue to to make this better by editing it. If you want to stay here and complain how you don't like this thread go nuts...

Looked at this, and so I brought the Magic down by removing #34, the Grizzlies down by taking away Critterton so the Wolves would hopefully go up in your list :)
So if McHale decides on Brook, I think we should do this...
Miami: Beasley
Miami: Lowry + Mayo + return first round pick
Memphis: Lowry + Lopez + Miller + Crittenton
Memphis: Beasley + Cook + Battie
Minnesota: Mayo + Heat's first round pick + McCants
Minnesota: Lopez + #22 + 2009 top 20 protected draft pick + Crittenton
Magic: #22 + 2009 first + Cook + Battie
Magic: McCants + Miller

Do you believe this is this an improvement?

I'm trying to be polite to you.
Remember that.
Mike Miller is worth little more than an expiring contract.
Kyle Lowry is not worth a 1st round pick.
Teams don't give up more assets when they trade down.
We are not adding the Miami pick to any scenario.
Let me fix it for you, if hypothetically our front office had a lobotomy and wanted lopez:
Min Out: #3(Mayo), Walker (expiring), McCants (11.67), #34
Min In: #5 (Lopez), #22, Miller (9.0),
Mem Out: #5 (Lopez), Mike Miller (9.0),
Mem In: #3 (Mayo), Cook, Walker (12.55)
Orl Out: #22, Cook (3.5)
Orl In: #34, McCants (2.6)
Since Memphis is under the cap it works.
This is much more fair, not a chance it happens, but much more fair.
Miller plays no defense and makes 9 million for 2 years. He's not as much of an asset as you think he is, however he'd probably be enough to drop 2 spots if mccants left and said lobotomies occured. Extra caproom in '09 would also entice memphis. However we are looking to deal for the 22nd pick only because we want to pick a big man there, and if we've already taken lopez that throws a paradox into your scenario.
I was pissed when we passed on rudy gay, and if somehow Mayo ends up there and we pick lopez I would love to watch the grizzlies (I'd need a new team to watch too).

beyond Horrific?
Mn could just hold onto the heat pick, pick lopez, keep mccants, and the #34 and the value is ten times better.
34 <= top 20 protected 09
mccants >= 22
heat pick > nothing
Mayo >= Lopez
So the wolves throw in the heat pick for a marginal upgrade in the #34? Otherwise everything else is roughly equal....
Maybe I read this wrong.
Its just aweful

oh nod but even still...
This trade..
Lopez + #22 + 2009 top 20 protected draft pick
Just taking Lopez @3 and keeping players..
Lopez + mia pick + 34 + McCants
See how MN actually loses assets by doing this trade?
its just god aweful....
If MN is drafting Lopez they surely wont send out McCants.
