We'll agree to disagree there.
No offense but you're argumentative it's cool I am too never said anything about "contender".
None taken. My entire purpose for this season is finding out which way the team is going. Every single move every poster wants to make has me questioning if they too know what the direction of the team is and where it will be going after their trades.

I loved Little Z. He's not a bad player. He went back to Europe and is playing really well in one of the better leagues out there. I just don't think our system suited him at all. Personally, if our system to more like the Spurs, I guarantee he would have developed into a poor man's Manu.

Zoran P had a knack for getting to the basket but couldn't finish to save his life. I didn't think he was that bad, but i didn't really care that he left either.
If his jump shot was worth a damn who knows, he might still have been around.

Remember when he hit that like 70' heave at the buzzer the last year he played with us? That was still incredible. If only he shot that well like all the time lol.

Tau Ceramica they came up short in the semifinals on NBATV.
There were too many plays to memorize on the NETS for a player who couldn't speak english.

I think he'd be in a logjam in Denver. If we could get Camby and Jr Smith for like Stro/Hassell/KVH, I'd love life, but he's gotta play next to K-Mart and Nene. He'd get decent time and probably would be relatively productive but wouldn't be a game changer.
Detroit is set with their boys for a while and are keeping their fingers crossed Amir Johnson doesn't turn into Stromile Swift
GSW could do it because they're all nuts. I think he'd be solid there.
Byron Scott I think would hate Stro personally.
Washington is gonna play Blatche over him every day of the week. He'd be lost behind him and Haywood and Twan when he plays the 4. They still have faith in Pechirov too.
In the case of Denver, Nene can't say off the IL to save his life. Also Eddie Najara will be a free agent come July 1st. Truly though, the Nuggets need some frontcourt help with both Camby and K-Mart getting on up in age. A reason to keep Denver in consideration.

Haha you seriously can't blame him for cancer last year? He got healthy then like 2 days later got diagnosed with cancer. Whenever he is on the court, he is fairly solid. Not worth his contract but he gets close to a double double every night when given starters minutes.
Problem is, I don't think they'd be interested in Stro in any way unless another player was coming with him that they honestly thought could get them past the 1st round of the playoffs.

Why the hell would I blame Nene for getting benign cancer? That's like blaming my grandmother for getting type 2 diabetes.

I was simply going by his history of injuries that has caused him to miss more games than neccessary. And yes, when Nene is on the floor, he's proven to be a solid player. It's just his issues with injuries haven't place him in a position to be a consistant contributor.

I don't think it mattered what happened with Stro when Kidd was here, by the time Stro was traded here Kidd was already cancering up the locker room and stopped giving a damn about the team

Honestly though, I think there were very few players that would have made Kidd back off wanting a trade. I would say Lakers getting Pau and Boston getting KG was the end of the line. If Brand or JO were healthy, I think them and Shaq would have been the only players that Kidd would have been like "ok we got him, I'm keeping my mouth shut for the rest of the season, just promise me we'll talk extension at the end of the season." The only other non elite guy I think that would have made him do that would have been K-Mart. Even with him not living up to his contract and a deal for him putting us in hell capwise, I really think K-Mart being back would have made him happy.

the LA and Boston deals were collusion if you ask me, especially the LA deal...im sure we could have offered a way better package for Gasol at that time.

A few expirings and youth, but seeing that there was a backdoor plan by the NBA to get Gasol on the Lakers, it doesn't really matter. All i know is that i believe we could have and probably did offer a package that made LA's look even worse than it already was.
