Some suprising results from this read.

O.J Mayo has 41 inch vertical leap. Was suprised

Kevin Love is fat, and had a descent 35 inch jump vertical, but shorter than expected. If Kevin Love was taller, could become a higher pick.

Jerryd. Bayless has very short arms

Derrick Rose and Beasley were measured wrong back a year ago.

So we are getting bigger at PF if we draft Beasley that's good.

But we are wasting a second pick. This were you are supposed to get a total freak of nature. Not just an average undersized joe. Just because he is the same size than Haslem, is nothing to brag about.

Wow.

I know by know you have never seen Beasley play, but as a PF very few can do the things he can.

We are talking about size.

Beasley is 6 7, good arm lenght, but not super freakish.

35 inch vertical same as Kevin Love..

8 11 standing reach

Do you think Beasley has freakish measurements.

For comparisons' sake, here's Haslems pre-draft measurements versus Beasley's:

Haslem: 6' 6.75" without ... 6' 7.75" with .... 6' 10.0" wing .... 8' 10" st reach
Beasley: 6'7.00" without .... 6'8.25" with .... 7-0.25" wing ... 8'11" st reach

Two things to keep in mind ... Haslem was a couple years older in this comparison, leaving Beasley room to add another inch or so hopefully. Also, this leaves out the critical component of hand size. Beasley's hands are apparently freakish, like a 7-footer's.

Why don't we talk about how Rose measured 6'1.5"?

I like how you compared Beasley's vert to Kevin Love, but failed to mention he has a longer standing reach than Love. Is Kevin Love also a SF tweener?

Michael Beasley is so small, that when he sits on the sidewalk his feet dangle.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

So you would pass up on guys like Boozer and Brand and ignore all they can do just b/c of their height and vertical? Beasley has enough height to play the position and his skills have shown he has the ability to dominate. Who cares about "freakish measurements" we need a star bball player not trying to form a circus.

Beasely is bigger than Haslem. Deal with it.

BTW - Chris Quinn is bigger than Rose, so let's not waste the pick on Rose either.

True, but Rose is a pointguard. That is still good enough. Considering he has a 6 8 wingspan 40 inch vertical, and Riley said he is the best athlete. ,

Rose 6'1.5"

Nash - 6'3"
Billups - 6'3"
Kidd - 6'4"
B-Davis - 6'4"
Hinrich - 6'3"
D Williams - 6'3"

See how two can play this silly measurement game? Your guy measured less-than-ideal too, so I'd recommend you hold your horses on Beasley.

Slightly high body fat at 7.7%? What the heck? Pat Riley said Beasley tested "extremely well" in all the measurements. Either Riley is becoming ok with having fat players, he's full of it when talking about beasley, or this website doesn't know what they are talking about.

He weighed in at that camp at 239 and played last season supposedly at 235 but its only 4 pounds and 7.7% is not that bad, Kevin Love had 13%.

Considering that the Best pointguard in the league is shorter than 6 feet, Chris Paul.

Best PF's are close to 7 feet. There is a big difference in having a guy be undersized, but is fast as hell in the backcourt, than a guy that might have to cover Duncan and K.G and Rasheed Wallace, be to undersized, with a 35 inch vertical is a big difference. Than a pointguard that is faster, has longer arms, and with a 40 inch vertical.
