Would you guys trade Bynum for anyone in the whole league?

Post#1 » by skillz23 » Tue Jun 3, 2008 7:16 pm

I know a team like Heat or Bulls could offer a top-2 pick but I'm not sold on either of the prospects being great as I am on Andrew Bynum (barring lifelong effects from injury).

Is there any "prospect" or prime star in the league you'd consider trading Bynum for?

By the way, when he plays next season, I'll post here occasionally to root for him.

What about Bynum and Farmar for something like Brandon Roy+Lamarcus Aldridge?

Al Jefferson for Bynum heads up?

This may sound REALLY STUPID, but Bynum kind of reminds me of Tim Duncan, with less skill and more athleticism. They are both long armed, stuff the interior, and seem to have high BBall IQ's.

I could come up with a list of names that would be no brainers even with Bynum's potential. Players like D12/Bron/CP3/Deron etc are obvious choices but none probable ofcourse.

In all honesty I would take Derrick Rose for Bynum.

TyCobb, are you joking? Bynum has proven he can play. Rose has not, although I'm hearing he's having amazing WORKOUTS.

Another reason I am not sold on Rose is whispers that he's knees are starting to give out. Got that straight from Bulls board.

Bynum for Kwame Brown to make the trade more even.

Drose and Deng would be awesome or even Drose and Nocioni. Either of those would make our team insane given that Drose is as good as advertised.

If we never traded for Gasol, then no I wouldn't trade Bynum. But now I don't care.

Well, it has to be reasonable and anchored in reality, right? Here's my shortlist:

Sure, I'd ponder trading him for D12, but it won't ever be offered.

the funny thing is other posters on other teams think we as lakers fans over value bynum.i see it all the time, things like "they think he's god"things like that.i guess we are the only ones who see his potential.

Fair enough. We have the luxury to wait on him and still compete for championships in the meantime, tell me how many teams could do that? :D

This is the same guy that started the season at a 10/8 pace and in a span of 2 months started to bull doze his way in the middle and put up 19/14 for a stretch. I'm pretty sure any GM or organization would value him and he certainly cannot be traded at this moment.

All things being the same, I would consider moving him for Rose. Dude's a freak and Bynum's knee worries me.
