Why is there so much hate for a guy with a sports column. Jesus. You all act like he murdered your mother.
It's because he is always attempting to channel the voice of Boston Celtics fans - much the way Ben Affleck was doing that during the Sox title run. No offense to Ben but SG has taken this to an annoying new level.
He did have the pulse of the fans to some extent before when he lived in Boston but since he moved to LA.. Whereas he is writing columns complaining about KGs lack of 'clutch" play (without a SHRED of real evidence I might add) or the bad coaching of Doc Celtics fans have been developing an appreciation for both.
Let's make something clear about Doc - the PLAYERS love the guy, IMHO. And as for KG even some fans more on the fence (although I loved the trade) have really learned to appreciate his game and how it's rubbed off onto the rest of the team.
Whereas people say he isn't clutch - I say he isn't a ball hog at the end of games. That's a GOOD thing. This idea that you can only win basketball games with ONE go to guy taking over is MJ created nonsense. What's wrong with looking for the right shot for yourself OR a teamate?
