I haven't seen this posted here, but Bob Ryan wrote in his blog taking shots at Simmons, saying "beware of false prophets." Quick read, but a pretty good zing towards Simmons.

Eh, the SG column was about as tongue in cheek as you can get.

Taking him to task for deriding the rivalry in a column full of satire is pretty pointless.

It was an abvious 'homer' column, and should be read that way.

Wasn't Bob Ryan the idiot that said we'd be lucky to make the playoffs this year after adding Posey, House, and Pollard? He can suck a D too. At least Simmons is funny.
