I voted Pierce for coming out big in the 3rd quarter to give us some life and the finally coming back big from that injury to give us a bunch of energy and push us over the hump...bravo to Pierce...great toughness

Paul Pierce was deadly in the second half. He didn't miss a shot.

We were down at the half, we needed to come out and start strongly, Pierce goes down, things look even worse for us C's, but he comes back, back to back three's and doesn't miss a shot all quarter and the Celtics take the lead and never look back! Paul Pierce, game MVP!

Tough between KG and Pierce but I'm gonna go with KG. Not so much because of his stats (which were awesome) but two plays really stood out for me. When he threw the ball of the Laker player on the Rondo FT miss and that amazing save preventing that backcourt violation. The latter play changed momentum in the game to our favor.

It is a pick'em between him and KG, both outstanding but Pierce's 3's, his defense and his hero routine the captain is the man tonight. Though KG's play on the backcourt and the ridiculous throw down to end that thing.

Honorable mention to Funky Phil for taking the 4th quarter off. I am sure he is just trying to challenge his team.

I love this **** team.

Also an honorable mention to KG for playing a great game despite missing some shots in the 2nd half and to PJ Brown for some great defense and rebounding

Truth, because his Larry Bird-esq entrance was the catalyst for the win

Pierce. His offense was more efficient than KG's and his defense was more successful.

Plus he was the emotional leader with the hero act.
Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".

I'm going with KG. He came out with energy, ended with energy during the most crucial two minutes of the game (the end), and just did what he always does on the defensive end.

Pierce had a great 3rd quarter, but was absent in the first half.

P.J. had a great game too. Everybody likes to see shots being made, but it looks like we might win this series under the basket. We are a tougher rebounding team than they are, and P.J. just seemed to have his body in the right position the whole time he was out on the court tonight. The difference makers in this series might be guys like P.J. and Leon. L.A. just can't bang with us on the boards, and nobody wins four games just by shooting lights out--maybe one or two games, but not four.

I went Pierce with a slight edge over KG due to the efficiency he scored with.

From a former poster

"Anonymous Endocrinologist

I am almost speechless. 22 points in only 30 minutes on 7-10 shooting. 15 points in a dominant third quarter where the game was won - most of them in pain after he sprained his knee and had to be carried off the court to the locker rooom??????? Talk about excellence, magnificence and MENTAL AND PHYSICAL TOUGHNESS - ****!!!!

Paul Pierce ONCE AGAIN PROVES HE is the **** TRUTH - AND THAT IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT."

The media needs to stop with the Willis Reed stuff. Everyone does. NOT the same thing.

Paul and KG should each get a Cigar for this game, but I voted for KG. He seemed like the best player on the floor to me.
