I know. That was one of the worst "throwback" gimmicks ever. What's next? Allow smoking in the arena? Get rid of the three-point line for a game?

LOL!

This is what Kevin Garnett looked like during Sunday's game.

Image

But it wasn't because of a blow he sustained to the dome. Oh no, his eyes started bleeding like this as soon as the Lakers took off the warm up sweats and headed to center court for the opening tip!

Image

And can you blame him? And though I thought nothing could EVER top those shorts, look at homeys footers? I mean, WTF is that?!?!!!! I never though it until now, but the Lakes may need to consider a colors change

HAHAHAHAHA! Classic!

Man, those short-shorts look even dumber with the longer spandex shorts underneath them.

Nooooo, it looks good on them I think that they should roll those bad boys out for game 2 in purple. But they have to add those tight ass jerseys.

We are earth people on a spiritual journey to the stars. Our quest, our earth walk, is to look within, to know who we are, to see that we are connected to all things, that there is no separation, only in the mind.

I wouldn't mind a healthy Andrew Bynum to man up down low at all.

Wasn't it eighties night in Los Angeles for that game against Boston? The eighties were awesome but the Lakers franchise should never have gone through with it unless Boston agreed to go along with it too in order to make it a complete throw back game for both teams. If only one team does it it comes off wrong. Just awful and the Lakers players realized it. No wonder they'd changed back to modern day shorts after half time.

short shorts are better for playing basketball. if the shorts are too long and you stick out your knee like on a layup, the shorts restricts knee movement. and sometimes if my shorts are too short when i go between the legs the ball its the shorts and I lose it.

Speaking of the shorts being too short then. How about how the jersey tops are becoming wider across the shoulders now. I mean I don't like the way they're designing these jerseys nowadays.

I agree, they look sissy, too, like WNBA jerseys...the Lakers, Heat, Pistons, etc, all wear these women's jerseys. Very few teams, like the C's, Spurs, Bulls, etc wear the regular MAN jerseys.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
