Of course not. I don't think we will have to worry about that. If Grant Hill and Penny are still around, Wade will be ok. I just wish he would get a damn jumpshot.

Most of his 34ppg in the NBA Finals were from mid-range. Thats the range he relies on in the clutch, and those Finals were extremely close and full of clutch moments. Wade shot 61% from the field vs Detroit in the Conference Finals. So I would say Wade is one of the best mid-range shooters in the NBA, and at his best he is the best mid-range shooter. He shot 47% this season despite his movement not returning, so the mid-range game played a role in that.

Its LeBron that has to improve on his midrange game. Wade's midrange game is pretty good

wade's midrange shot is not even close to ray allen, michael redd, rip hamilton, ETC.

the reason he could hurt teams in midrane so effectively is because defense give him because he can blow by them and drive good too.

the reason why doesn't matter....the fact is he can shoot that mid-range J with the best of them.

Wade does not have a good mid range game. 2 good series doesn't make you a good midrange shooter. You don't believe me, look for yourself.

Sorry Wade's midrange game isn't perfect like Rip and Allen's??? Rip and Allen are two of the best midrange players to ever play the game.

Wade has an excellent midrange game. Wade is nearly perfect on offense, with the only thing lacking is a reliable 3 point shot. He's excellent on the block, hes one of, if not the best, drivers in the league, and has a dead eye midrange shot.

Exactly, check his shooting in the 06 playoffs...he shot less that 40 percent all over the court besides inside the paint. Sorry but the dudes J is broke, if that stat is accurate.

This past season he only shot over 40 percent from 3 spots, outside the paint because hes a great mid range shooter. Oh for real???

if Wade plays 2-3 more years at an all-NBA 1st/2nd level, he's definitely a HOFer for me..leading your team to a championship is huge..Wade CARRIED his team in the finals, putting up one of the greatest finals performances in NBA history..

Yea exactly. Leading a team to an NBA championship is the greatest thing a player can do, and he's done it. He's done something that plenty of HOFers have not done. Add that to some All-star appearances, All-NBA teams, and great stats, and he'll definitely be in.

Seriously, alot of people would say that Reggie Miller deserves to be in the HOF, but he's never won a title, only has 5 all-star appeances and 3 All-NBA third team honors. How can people say he deserves it, but Wade doesn't, especially if he plays another great 2 years?

I like Reggie alot but he isn't a HOF player in my eyes... a while ago there was a thread about Rip being in the HOF as well and he isn't close in my opinion.

Wade has a long way to go to get to the HoF, he has no chance if he retires with injuries anytime soon.

But I guess it would depend on what you consider HoF.

It's about all of basketball, not just the NBA.

Would this get you into the HoF??

NCAA-
At least 2 yrs of college ball
National Championship(s)
Awards and/or Accolades

NBA-
10+ yr career
750-1,000+ gms played
20,000+ mins played
5+ yrs of playoffs (at least 1/2 of career)
Multiple Conference Finals Appearances
Multiple Finals Appearances
Championship(s)
Multiple Time All-Star
15,000+ career points
3,000+ career rebounds
3,000+ career assists

Extras-
scoring titles
leading scorer for a franchise
leading rebounder for a franchise
surpassing HoFers stats/records

is there anything I am missing?
