Does anyone know how you get into becoming a scout for an NBA team? I've always been interested in giving it a try. Thanks

excel at being a coach/scout at various levels. start with high school ball if you have to.

network with coaches, scouts and officials of other leagues. work at camps etc... get your name out there and get lucky.

It is also important that you are able to foresee an Athlete's growth in terms of height, weight and girth.
