OT: Many possible Dynasty's coming in a few years
With Bynum-Gasol-Odom-Kobe-Fisher to Farmar we all see the Lakers are going to be a dynasty. Although I was the first to say it here and JVG was the first famous person to say it it's true.
The Lakers imo will be the best team in the league for the next 5 years but do to some luck and several once and a lifetime players coming into the league there are gonna be several dynasty potential teams coming to the league. I am not talking about having the norm of there usually being 3-5 teams that are better then the rest like a few years ago Spurs-Mavs-Suns I am talking about teams that could be real dynasty's better then the Shaq-Kobe Lakers and better then the Spurs who won 4 rings. Having a dynasty is completely rare and 2 at one time is even more rare but there could be a couple.
The Celtics are not 1 of them. They are to old imo. The Lakers even if they lose this year they will beat them next year and they are aging.
In order of what I think the teams will be and what teams
1.Lakers-Clearly we know there lineup and have 2 star 7 footers with the best player in the game plus Odom.
2.Bulls-Rose-Deng whoever they get for Gorden-Kirk-Tyrus-Noci-Noah-Hughes-Gooden
Blazers- Greg Oden- If he doesn't live up to the hype then the Blazers will just be a really good team but if he does he will be better then Bynum and Howard and be the best Center in the league.
Lamarcus Alridge-He can be an allstar center himself but with Oden there he is gonna be an elite pf. The game will be made alot easier for him with Oden there. They have Brandon Roy who could end up being a superstar himself. He probably won't be but will defenately be close or at least a guy who is good enough to be the #1 of a big 3 and he will be a #2.
Oden-Aldridge-Roy. Add that to Webster and Outlaw and the 13th pick
4.Brooklyn Nets-When they go to Brooklyn in a few years being Lebron and Jay-Z are so close I think Lebron will choose the Nets over Knicks. We all know he is going to N.Y. because he is all about the money. I am not saying that is stupid but it is what it is. Lebron made it to the finals with basically no teammates. With Lebron in N.Y. alot of players will want to go there. Hell players always wanted to go there before the whole Isiah thing anyway.
There gonna get a few more good players and even if you just look if you add Lebron now they got Kristic-Williams-Lebron-Carter-Harris and whoever they get for RJ.
See the difference between these teams and just ultra talented teams like the Hawks that we know are gonna be good in a few years and what made the Spurs a dynasty or close to it and why the Lakers will be one and pretty much were one with Shaq (if Shaq and Kobe wanted to stay together they would have gotten 4 rings at least) is the Superstar players on these super deep teams, there super deep with a player who is or will be a top 1-10 players in the league
The Lakers have Kobe plus Bynum who can also be a superstar maybe
The Bulls have Rose who will be the best pg in the league and although they might not have another superstar they have about 6-8 other possible stars.
The Blazers-Oden will probably be the best Center in the game. He is a go to scorer and will be over a 20 point a game scorer and will be the best defensive center in the league.
The Nets- Lebron is the best player at his position and is the second best player in the league. Of course if Lebron stays with the Cavs it's all moot.
See I didn't put teams like the Hornets on and that is partly why I think I am right. These are not just deep teams these teams have potentail dynasty to them. With them all playing at the same time though they might end up with a combined 6 rings though and wouldn't be knowed as dynastys.

Sorry, but I would put the Hornets and Blazers in 2nd and 3rd..
In my mind, it is way to premature to even put the Bulls on this list, until three things happen (1) We see who they pick, (2) We see who they trade and who they trade for and lastly (3) They win some games, they HAVE TO PROVE that last year was a fluke and not the norm...

Well The Hornets are a great team and Chris Paul is a dynasty franchise player but I think the Hornets will probably be more of a Mavs-Suns type team of the past couple years ago.
And I thought the people here can take the other topics without getting upset so if it's not Laker and only Laker I will take it to the general board. See Lakers are the #1 dynasty so I thought it would be right here but I will take it to the general.
You guys are babies though. You see what the post says so if you don't like it don't read it. It's not like I trick you and make you think yoiur about to read about the Celtics series and it's this. You choose to click so just don't click if you don't want to read non this season Laker posts. It's not hard.

J-Farm and Hermes I will wait until after the series is over to talk about anything but the Finals. You guys are right.
Tony don't worry about me ever responding to you again, that's not a problem youll have. You never have any good basketball related posts anyway and never have anything creative to say and I honestly wouldn't ever notice if we never spoke again. I prefer it so it's cool.

Thank you , this is the best thing you have ever posted the whole time you have been here.
This isnt about me and you, this is about all the nonsense and garbage you come up with.
Its about your timing, you taking the same crap and rewriting it over and over again .
I dont care if you or anyone else doesnt like my posts or thread, yet I know when to post and when not to post and what to post.
You disapear for a few days or weeks and then you pop up with ****in 4 to 7 threads in one day with the same ish you wrote the last time you were here that has NO VALUE , NO SENSE , TIMING IS SO FREAKING OFF, AND ITS ALL ABOUT R.J IS THIS R.J IS THAT , LAKERS DYNASTY , L.O FOR R.J GARBAGE.
The mods have told you over and over again with you clutring this board with the same ish and your spaming issues yet all you do is .....you guess it ............... THE SAME ISH.
Were down 0-1 to the Cs and your on here posting about a freaking dynasty........You dont realize your nonsense garbage is floating outside of this board and your making us look like a bunch of DUMB A55es on the Cs board cause of your nonsense.
As the Mods told you , take this garbage outside of the Lakers board and see how reality will hit you like a runaway train , when the enitre realgm board will clown you and make a mockery out of you and your threads.
We got love for you on here since we are use to you and your nonsense but outside of this board you will be clowned by everyone I mean every one , If you dont believe me then post this same thread on the general board.
Thats why you never post outside of this board.
I dont have a problem with you , I use to but I let it go since at times you made a few good points and at times you and your posts brought humor to this board ....................But NOW its not , its is freaking annoying and your timing is off and your making a fool out of every Laker fan when you post crap like this.
Grow up and time your threads and posts and stop repeating the same garbage over and over again.
If you dont believe me ........... here let me take this over to the general board and you can see the reaction of peps other than Laker fans....
I may be wrong , maybe Im overreacting , but lets see what happens.
Get my point Star.
Bye Star.

Here you go Star, I posted this on the General Board.
I kept your name and which board it was from.
You have had over 130 views but 3 replies and here they are.
I just want you to see different responses on your thread outside of the Lakers board.
Honestly when posters from this board tell you something , maybe you should listen to them, specially the Mods.
We're not looking to bash you or make fun of you, we like you thats why you get the responses that you get on here, but outside of this board, its a whole different ball game.
Now keep in mind these guys dont know you, they dont know your history of posting or the reposts you make every week since you have been on the Lakers board.
Why dont you start posting some of your threads on other boards so can get a different opinion ............ DO that .
I actually challenge you to do that since you critisize my posts when I speak out about yours.

greenbeans wrote:i stopped at the celtics. . whoever wrote that needs spellcheck too btw. and already counting your own team out after ONE loss?? what a fan, what a fan!!
One of Shemps Kids wrote:If you name the Nets, you should name the Knicks and every single team in the league. Technically speaking, any player could possibly sign with any team. Hell, maybe Chris Paul and LeBron James decide to sign with the Bobcats in the future.
ElTurco wrote:All that means is there wont be any dynasties. If there are multiple dynasty "quality" teams, chances are they are going to eliminate each other before any team reaches to dynasty status

Alright I'm locking this. While the subject could be broached at the appropriate time, I think this ends up doing more harm than good.
I do think there should be some more self editing with topics like this, especially when you know the bulk of the board likes to get combative over topics like this, but I also dislike making it's creator a punching bag. So for both reasons:
