With Bynum-Gasol-Odom-Kobe-Fisher to Farmar we all see the Lakers are going to be a dynasty. Although I was the first to say it here and JVG was the first famous person to say it it's true.
The Lakers imo will be the best team in the league for the next 5 years but do to some luck and several once and a lifetime players coming into the league there are gonna be several dynasty potential teams coming to the league. I am not talking about having the norm of there usually being 3-5 teams that are better then the rest like a few years ago Spurs-Mavs-Suns I am talking about teams that could be real dynasty's better then the Shaq-Kobe Lakers and better then the Spurs who won 4 rings. Having a dynasty is completely rare and 2 at one time is even more rare but there could be a couple.
The Celtics are not 1 of them. They are to old imo. The Lakers even if they lose this year they will beat them next year and they are aging.
In order of what I think the teams will be and what teams
1.Lakers-Clearly we know there lineup and have 2 star 7 footers with the best player in the game plus Odom.
2.Bulls-Rose-Deng whoever they get for Gorden-Kirk-Tyrus-Noci-Noah-Hughes-Gooden
Blazers- Greg Oden- If he doesn't live up to the hype then the Blazers will just be a really good team but if he does he will be better then Bynum and Howard and be the best Center in the league.
Lamarcus Alridge-He can be an allstar center himself but with Oden there he is gonna be an elite pf. The game will be made alot easier for him with Oden there. They have Brandon Roy who could end up being a superstar himself. He probably won't be but will defenately be close or at least a guy who is good enough to be the #1 of a big 3 and he will be a #2.
Oden-Aldridge-Roy. Add that to Webster and Outlaw and the 13th pick
4.Brooklyn Nets-When they go to Brooklyn in a few years being Lebron and Jay-Z are so close I think Lebron will choose the Nets over Knicks. We all know he is going to N.Y. because he is all about the money. I am not saying that is stupid but it is what it is. Lebron made it to the finals with basically no teammates. With Lebron in N.Y. alot of players will want to go there. Hell players always wanted to go there before the whole Isiah thing anyway.
There gonna get a few more good players and even if you just look if you add Lebron now they got Kristic-Williams-Lebron-Carter-Harris and whoever they get for RJ.
See the difference between these teams and just ultra talented teams like the Hawks that we know are gonna be good in a few years and what made the Spurs a dynasty or close to it and why the Lakers will be one and pretty much were one with Shaq (if Shaq and Kobe wanted to stay together they would have gotten 4 rings at least) is the Superstar players on these super deep teams, there super deep with a player who is or will be a top 1-10 players in the league
The Lakers have Kobe plus Bynum who can also be a superstar maybe
The Bulls have Rose who will be the best pg in the league and although they might not have another superstar they have about 6-8 other possible stars.
The Blazers-Oden will probably be the best Center in the game. He is a go to scorer and will be over a 20 point a game scorer and will be the best defensive center in the league.
The Nets- Lebron is the best player at his position and is the second best player in the league. Of course if Lebron stays with the Cavs it's all moot.
See I didn't put teams like the Hornets on and that is partly why I think I am right. These are not just deep teams these teams have potentail dynasty to them. With them all playing at the same time though they might end up with a combined 6 rings though and wouldn't be knowed as dynastys.

If you name the Nets, you should name the Knicks and every single team in the league. Technically speaking, any player could possibly sign with any team. Hell, maybe Chris Paul and LeBron James decide to sign with the Bobcats in the future.

Dunleavy, Granger, Diogu, Augustin. That is a lethal lineup now. Add in Diener, Foster, and two European players in Lorbek and Barac. This team could be a franchise very soon.
Uhh...there's no superstar in there. Hard to have a dynasty without even one of them, right? Unless you were being extremely literal and saying that they constitute an actual basketball franchise, which no one could argue with.

???
How many dynasties do you think there can be at one time? Hell, there's only been like 3-6 or so in the history of the NBA, depending on how you define it. But now the Hornets, Lakers, Bulls, Blazers, Jazz, Cavs, etc are all gonna be dynasties at the exact same time.
I hate to burst bubbles but the chances are that no team assembled or close to assembled today will be a dynasty.

dynasties are extremely difficult to accomplish..look at the Spurs, we're one of the favorites every year, but can't even repeat..
if the Lakers win the title this year, then I can accept the possible dynasty argument..but if they don't win the title this year, I don't see a legit argument for them winning 4 titles in a row or whatever..some people don't realize how difficult it is to make a dynasty..then there's the Bynum injury affect..not even about his recovery, but the potential injury problems he might continue to have during his career..
the Blazers potential best player hasn't even played a game yet..
the Bulls?! LOL..they could draft Rose, but their 2nd option wouldn't even be anything special..Luol Deng is a good player, but far from a guy that will be a 2nd option on a dynasty..Rose isn't Jordan..
the Nets?!..come on..Lebron will be in Brooklyn when he can IMO, but it's far from a certainty..

.. Ben Gordon?
I agree the Bulls right now shouldn't be discussing titles, let alone being a dynasty. But we're going in the right direction. We have an established core of role players and starters and need the superstar/leader. If Derrick Rose becomes that player, we won't have to wait a single second at surrounding him with talent.
But yes. Right now Chicago shouldn't be talking championship. Maybe one day down the line, but not now.

I definitely agree Chicago is going in the right direction and has the potential to make a championship team, assuming Rose is a big-time player..but as of right now, they're just a team that missed out on the playoffs after looking promising..they're log jammed at a few positions(depending on who they draft too) and they're banking on a franchise player coming out of the draft..busts happen..

The logjam will get cleared. No question about it. If we can't move Larry Hughes, he will be offered a buy-out. If he doesn't accept we go Tim Thomas on his butt.
Assuming we select Rose, we'll likely re-sign Gordon & Deng and finally give Tyrus the minutes he's deserved since his rookie season. Our core basically becomes:
Joakim Noah
Tyrus Thomas
Luol Deng
Ben Gordon
Derrick Rose
Thabo Sefolosha
This allows us to move Kirk Hinrich, Drew Gooden & Andres Nocioni in the same package for a big man. Teams have shown interest in Nocioni before, and Hinrich is still being considered an above average PG despite his off-season. Gooden is an $7.1M expiring, so you know there will be interest in him.
All in all, we have a solid foundation of young players going forward. We need veterans players who earn their money more by teaching that playing.
While busts do happen, I have enough faith in Paxson to make the right choice. I'm also fairly certain there's no Kwame Brown in this draft. Derrick Rose & Michael Beasley have games that are more transferable, which definitely should make them contributors. We'll see what happens on the 26th.

let me know when the Magic have a GOOD and Healthy pg and sg...
All these teams have faults or they still would be playing. Let me know when Portland has a PG or a SF. Let me know when Chicago has one single big man who is not a stiff...
Orlando has a better PG than any team on this list other than NJ, and they have no business on this list.
