"We feel very, very confident that the 15th (pick) will be a solid player and potentially a contributor," Suns Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations David Griffin said. "The draft is very deep. It's not too terribly heavy after the first two picks. That's a good thing, because beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You could get a guy at 13 who may have been third on your board or, in our case at 15, who may have been fifth."

Portland has the 13th pick.

Take a look at that link and look at the very next paragraph:

"If we did anything to our picks, it would be to add picks. We're absolutely committed to getting younger and adding depth."

That to me says either Barbosa or Diaw will be most likely gone from the team to grab another 1st round pick and player(s).

what about Blake and 13 for Barbosa straight up? Maybe if Jack was thrown in too it would be more appealing I'm not sure. You guys would still get a contract expiring the same time as Nash and Shaq, another pick, and a steady backup PG who can run an offense and hit open jumpers (a little like Steve Kerr in fact).

Blake and the 13 for Barbosa?

Done, freaking do it, right now. Forget Jack, just those two, right there.

OK, well you can't because the salaries don't match but if you DO add Jack in, that's a SPECTACULAR trade.

Blake/Jack/13 for Barbosa=wow...

Nash/Blake/Jack
Bell/Strawberry
Hill/Alexander/Tucker
Amare/Diaw
Shaq/Koufous

Draft Joe Alexander with 13 and Kosta Koufos with 15.

I like Alexander. The dude is tough, one of the strongest guys in this draft, and can jump out of the building. Nice form on his J. Webber can help him to become a better shooter.

If I was the suns, I would shoot higher than the 13th pick for barbs.

as of now, I like that we are keeping #15 and looking to add another pick.

Don't draft Koufos, draft Robin Lopez.

I still think D'Antoni would take Barbosa for #6...Walsh on the other hand....
