J. O'Neal Trade Proposal

Would the Pacers trade JO and Marquis Daniels to CLE for Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Ben Wallace???? The salaries allow this trade to happen.

If the Pacers don't want either CLE player it would be easier to trade each b/c their salaries are lower than JO's which makes other trades easier to make. Larry Bird would probably do this trade but I'm sure CLE would want JO to pass their physical due to his injury issues.

Besides the fact that Ben Wallace ruined the Pacers chances of winning for who knows how many seasons, he's not a very good basketball player anymore and really is a shell of his former self. I want nothing to do with his contract, and whether I'd take Ilgauskas for JO is debateable (I'd lean towards no).

I would rather sit on JO in hopes that he got healthy and either (a) contributed here or (b) enhanced his trade value than to do this deal. It's a risk, but one that I'd be willing to take over this.

nope, not going to happen--

The fans here already dislike some of the team's players, I can't imagine how Ben Wallace would help at all.... :-?
