Other guys like him, once they got paid the felt like they had to do more than rebound and play defense and PJ never lost what made him special.
I know it is just game one but I am just so thrilled for the guy it is just a story book.
He's been solid pretty much the whole playoffs when he's in the year.

PJ Brown is the anti-Sam Cassell.

I must say Cassell stepped up too.
Cassell didn't step up. Yes, he made a few shots, but he also went on to miss a ton, not to mention, killing our offensive flow and almost single-handedly keeping the Lakers in the game when we could have ran away with it.
Poison his food, get him into an accident, injure him in practice, whatever it takes. He's gotta get taken out if we want to win. We can't continue to play with his selfish antics.

I'm someone who strongly believes in using statistics to evaluate, but last night PJ played beyond the common box score stats. Tremendous game from him, he played absolutely astounding defense....I hope to god no one is talking about him latching on to try and win a championship, because if the Celtics are to win, he'll be a big reason.

If it wasn't for PJ, Cavs would be playing the Lakers right now.
