OT from wiretap: Phoenix hires Porter

I know a lot of fan bases can claim Terry Porter as their own, but he was one of my favorite players when I was first a Wolves fan (and along with Sam Mitchell was a terrific mentor for KG.) Good for Porter, who got railroaded by poor management and ownership in Milwaukee.

I always thought his firing was egregious - way more than the Casey firing. He'll probably do well, but I'd have thought he'd be better with a young team, than a veteran team like the Suns. It has to be hard to take your coach too seriously when you played against them and kicked their ass as Nash, Hill, and Shaq probably have.
