Porter is a good hire. He should never have been fired in Milwaukee. However I do not envy him. The Suns are facing a rebuilding process and they will get worse before they get better.

It's time for Terry to make a real name for himself and he has the roster to do it. While the Phoenix ownership saved money once again, I feel there are still better options out there, but Terry deserves his chance to get this team deeper into the playoffs.

And who where they supposed to get ? Avery and Flip are the only bigger names still out there and both have been exposed for various flaws in the playoffs .

Warspite:

Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

Bad choice by the Suns. Porter only had one good year coaching, and that was when he was 41-41 with the Bucks. The Suns are most liley to take a step back.

I would have interviewed:

Jeff Van Gundy
Doug Collins
Rudy Tomjanovich
Paul Silas

It's obvious the owner is satisfied with the Suns just always being a playoff team.

He had various offers but declined all of them . Doesn't look like he wants to coach right now.
