Boris buys a nice house

$3,600,000.

Phoenix Suns forward Boris Diaw bought a 7,927-square-foot home with pool originally built in 2006 on the southwest side of the Camelback Golf Club in Paradise Valley. Diaw, traded to the Suns in 2005, averaged 8.8 points and 4.6 rebounds in the 2007-08 season. The home was sold by Robert J. Gillette and Melinda A. Skeoch-Gillette.

That's what's he's done with some of the cash from his $9mil per year salary. 8)
Suns fan during the KJ era (Coliseum), through the Barkley era (Am West Arena), and now the Nash era (US Airways Arena)!

That is probably less than what the IRS takes from him every year.

Looks like we're keeping him... hopefully the house comes with a basketball court so he can keep in SHAPE and PRACTICE in the offseason.

Boris says he is very happy with the purchase. When asked what he was going to do with the rest of this year's salary, he responded quote, "try to earn it."

Looks pretty nice! Maybe he will have a home gym.... you know... to work out and not get fat again during the offseason.

And I bet the young girls will love to stay at his new place.

Oh Diaw, when will you learn.

get fat during off season?

He gets fat during too!

I seriously would love to personally train Diaw and turn him into a chiseled TANK of an athlete. Ive got the method and eating habit to do it... he'd be so much more damaging when he gets stronger.

He has man boobs. Because he bought a house does not mean he will not be traded. The FO does not care about that. With MD gone, I think Kerr would like to trade him to be honest.

I often dream of him being transformed into another Boozer.

You dream of Boris?

The kid has a seriously unique combo of size and skills, he just needs to get in shape and WANT to get better, coaches can kick his arse all they want, if he doesn't want to be an elite player and a key piece, he won't.

I really think this will be a good yr for boris... and hopefully one to shed his Doris label.

The big difference ??

There is a 330 lb gorilla on his back , or potentially, at any given moment... ie Shaq. This squad was devoid of a true locker room leader. Nash is too GD diplomatic, Amare too young and not yet proven, Marion was too self centered, Raja too cool, and Hill too new. Couple that with D'Ants soft serve ice cream approach and you have the birth of Doris.

I am expecting a devotion to the gym and court from everyone this yr. O'Neal's off season words so far indicate he will be leading the charge. I think it will be in Boris' best interest to please him, as the Big Last Chance's opportunities (as well as Nash's and Hill's) are T minus 2 and counting.
