Most of the Game Threads on this board would be about 80% shorter if no ref whining was allowed.

They would be a lot better too.

This is the BEST NBA team ever assembled.. period. I'm convinced that not even the Jordan-led Bulls can beat this Boston team.

Odom and Gasol are keeping this game from being a blowout.

Where would LA be without Pau Gasol, completely carrying them on his back. This guy knows how to score on anyone, including KG.

Helps when the other team's 8th man is getting ridiculous foul calls like Lebron in his prime. Anyways, here's to hoping for a more eventful 2nd half. I turned off the TV for now because of the officiating

Part of the problem for the Lakers big man have been poor rotations which has caused them to be out of position and using their hands instead of their feet. The FTs for Powe have been pretty ridiculous though.

On offense, the Lakers need to attack the basket instead of settling for jumpers like Pau just did.

At some point, Kobe is going to have to start attacking the rim and stop settling for high difficulty fadeaways. That is how you set an aggressive tone for the whole team.

Lakers seem like the softer team right now and are being treated like it.
