I think Boston was a very suspect team to start the Playoffs. If they had the Lakers in Round 1, they very well could have gotten beat down. But the journey to the Finals has really gave them experience and taught some of these guys (even the big 3) how to win and keep their poise on the big stage.

Boston have clearly outplayed us this game. Having said that, look at the free throw discrepancy:

Celtics - 26 attempts
Lakers - 4 attempts

What a joke.

Naw, the refs haven't been good by any means, but Boston is playing unbelievable ball right now. Pierce and Allen can't miss from 3, Garnett is killing everybody in there, Rondo is playing a VERY poised game and to top it all Leon Powe is playing out of his mind right now

well, this has been fantastic. Got real excited to watch this series hoping the refs would just let these guys play. They're singlehandedly ruining the fun of this series. This isn't the NBA Finals it's playoff basketball for P***Ys. The first half was just maddening to watch. Stick your noses out of the game and let the guys play. I don't tune in to watch the celtics shoot freethrows all night.

LA has the best player in the league, but Boston has the best team. IMO Detroit is the 2nd best team. Even if Boston hangs on tonight the series is far from over though.

powe is having the game of his life, the problem for the lakers tho, is hes simply playing his game. meaning he can probably do this all series.

Phil is going to lobby the refs in the media like he always does. And it might help some back in L.A.

But behind closed doors, his team needs real work. He better not give them a bail-out, because they have been severely outplayed.
