i am so sick of people saying the lakers are plauing soft. did you not watch the game? did you not see what happened when the lakers were aggressive on defense? how are they supposed to play hard when they are playing 8 on 5?
They're saying it because it's true. The Celtics are exploiting all of our weaknesses -- defense, rebounding, toughness -- with surgical precision right now. The officiating hasn't been great, but there's no way you can blame a 20-point game going into the fourth quarter solely on the referees. That's just straight bitch. We're getting our butts kicked, and we pretty much deserve it with the way we're playing.

Talk about melting down. This is the Lakers this year .I \'ve said it time and time again. When the Lakers are Bad especially on the defensive end, they are atrocious. Against the Nuggets you saw it, against the Spurs you saw it. The Difference is the Nuggets played no D, the Spurs looked old and tired and the Jazz just didn't ave the size inside to play with the LAkers. Now the Lakers are pretty well matched up against three All-stars veterans, Athletic big men and quick perimeter guards. No transition buckets, no free throws , no defensive rebounds, no stops. WOW!

sorry
I favored you guys in 7 but as always, the better defensive/rebounding team wins 99.6% of the time in the playoffs.
unfortunately there's only one blueprint right now in the NBA and everyone who deviates from the blueprint ends up not getting it done.
but how the **** does doc **** rivers outcoach phil **** jackson two straight nights?
