Like I said on page 53, I'm okay with the officiating as long as it's equally lopsided for the home team in L.A.

The officiating in this entire postseason has been lopsided in favor of the home teams. They were just maintaining the trend.

Got a bit of a scare. But oh well.

They pulled it out. Didn't think they'd lose anyways.

Lakers down a big 2 games. Something big has to happen.

so your saying it was all celtics when the lakers came back?

I'm not going to go look for the numbers, but this has happened at least twice in the playoffs already. Boston quits playing with intensity and it is frustrating.

This Pierce v. Radmanovic matchup is an absolute nightmare. I don't care about foul trouble, I would like to see Kobe on him from the opening tip, and just play Vujacic on Allen.

Tough to win when the other team shoots 4 times as many FTs. Hopefully, we'll get some respect from the refs in LA to even it out a bit.

Also, Kobe not touching the ball on the possession when Sasha fired that 3 = inexcusable. Kobe was availabe for the catch at the top of the key, and instead Sasha got the ball and fired with Pierce all over him. Horrible decision.

Like he hasn't attempted a trey over 2 men before....what a joke to suggest he couldn't shoot that.

LOL

If he would have taken that shot people like you would have blasted him for being a ball hog.

So are you attacking me or trying to make a point? The point I'm making is that was a shot Kobe would take usually, yet he passed it off because he didn't want to be the man that missed the last shot.

Kobe didn't play that bad in really any part of this game. The Celtics just did a great job making him work. And Vlad cannot guard Paul Pierce. Kobe is going to have to do it. And I am really getting tired of Kevin Garnett taking jumpshots.

Kobe was on Pierce like i expected late in the game..and it was still the same result. Easy buckets, Looks like no one can stop him.

Does Sasha think he's Kobe Bryant? He needs to get his head checked.

Boston tried to use up the clock in the final 5 minutes. They passed up some good looks and that lead to no-score possessions. Ultimately it was an okay tactic, but they would have won by more if they took every shot that was there.

This game, they were firing on all cylinders and containing Kobe, but the Lakers still managed to dwindle the lead down to 2 points. This could be a serious issue. Pretty much everyone played well for the Celts including Ray Allen....shocker.

First of all you have to realize the Celtics stopped playing defense especially Kevin Garnett. That is rare.

Secondly i think this is a good wake-up call for the Celtics. They can't play the way thhe did down the stretch in LA.

Thirdly, LA just caught extreme fire. They wont shoot like they did for a whole game. Lamar Odom was a non factor and Gasol disappeared again. Vlad is still a defensive liability.

Take this with a grain of salt.

That's how BringThePain is, he's non-existent when Kobe/Lakers beat Nuggets and Spurs and when he had monster games against Nuggets and the Close-out against Spurs. And like an idiot he comes in bashing when there is a bad game.

He nitpicks little details, like Why didn't Kobe having his laces tied properly before making that 3?

And now he's on a bandwagon of Boston after Spurs nailed the Suns a new hole!

Celtics cannot afford to get complacent and stop playing defense. They barely got away with it tonight. They won't get away with it on the road.

Great games from Pierce, Powe and Rondo (although he needs to make FTs, even if he can't hit the open jumpers)

Where does KG go late in games? He always seems to disappear late in games -- at least on offense.

I don't see the Lakers hitting 7 3-pointers in a quarter again. They got outplayed for 3+ quarters and were lucky to make that crazy comeback attempt late. But if they play like this at home, they will lose this series in 5 games.

The Lakers are doing a good job on KG, and pinning a man on Ray, but they don't really have an answer for Pierce, he should continue to light them up....

LOL, you made it into a Kobe thing on that last possession shot? Are you serious? He was the inbounder so he could get the ball back. Was he supposed to run Sasha down for the ball?

You're joking right?

I'm a fan of classy basketball, and I'm not a fan of poor shot selection. If that gets to you then so be it, but I'm just focusing on the basketball, not the fans.
