I vote with Pierce even though I was not happy with his play in the last two minutes. I don't know how people are talking about him closing out the game. He gave the ball away on two straight possessions and then fouled Kobe on the next one. That was something like a 7-point loss between minutes 2:00 and 1:00. Still, it's hard to single him out among the general meltdown of the starters. We should have kept the bench in the game. They were playing for minutes, with a lot of energy, and the starters came back in will all of the pop of so many wet towels.

I don't agree with the announcers that we gave L.A. "life" for the next game. They looked defeated walking off the floor, not confident. Sure, they might blow us out in Game 3, but that might have happened anyway.

Honorable mention to Powe and Rondo.

As much as I have always liked Doc, and think he has coached really well in this series, this was a big goof last night. I have no doubt he'll adjust, though.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

shouldnt even be a poll. its powe all the way. 21 in 15. w/o him & his energy, hustle & intensity, we dont win that game. he was huge. as soon as he was out of the game in the 4th, we lost the big lead in the blink of an eye

Pierce and Powe should have been the only 2 options.

Powe played great, but if you think Pierce didn't have the biggest outcome on the game, I'm not so sure what game you watched.
