You can't be serious. It's pretty simple. He hurt his knee, to what extent we don't know because Pierce is a gamer and willing to put off the MRI and play through it. The teams staff didn't want to risk our best offensive player **** up his knee further so they didn't want him to put weight on it. He insisted he was well enough to play and returned to the game. He's obviously hurt, but willing to play through the injury. He should be commended for that, not denigrated because the medical staff played it safe.

Can you please tell me how you came to this conclusion?

Was it the amazing first half that Pierce just had, without any sign of injury or pain?

you can't be serious. for anyone to question pierce's toughness is stupid. the guy survived being stabbed several times, almost dying, and gone on to have a great, maybe, hall of fame career. pierce has played thru numerous injuries and only someone as big a douchebag as bill plaschke would not have noticed.
