OT: Sneaker Heads

Post#1 » by SeizeCoup » Mon Jun 9, 2008 5:21 pm

All you Celtics fans out there who are also addicted to kicks, just wanted to give you a heads up that finishline.com has some backstock/deadstock KG ts lightswitches in a few sizes, only $40, marked down from $100. I just copped a pair.

Also, can anyone tell me which Jordan's Ray has been wearing in the playoffs? At first I thought they were XIII's, but last night I caught a good glance, and I'm pretty sure I know which ones they are (not 13's). A gold star for whoever answers correctly first!

No doubt. Did you get them in black or white? I copped the black ones, size 10. Cool collectors item, but I'll also probably ball in them some as well.

Btw, I am a crazy sneaker person. It's a horrible addiction. And what makes it even worse is that the girl I'm dating is such a bad influence, she loves sneakers too! Whenever there is a good deal I can't turn it down.

One of these days I will start a, "Rock your Kicks" thread, I'm sure there's some cats around here who also share the same affliction... my collection is pretty sick.

Ray has been wearing the Jordan TGIM PE

TGIM stands for "the game is mine" btw

i can see where they would be confused for the 13's

Yes, I think you are right! It's the offset lacing... Frankly, I am surprised that Ray isn't wearing one of the majors, like the XX3's. (which he wore for the All-Star game) I love his PE VIII's, those are soooo fresh.

i splurged and got the white and the black, i figured 40 bucks each, why not get both ...and they deff. sold out quick whatever they had left...i hope my order went through ok, i only got the initial confirmation...

i am guilty as well...deff. a guilty pleasure...i just hate that every shoe runs different size wise for me...it's such a pain...i mean i'm like a 10/10.5, but every brand and every "type" fits different...i wear anywhere from a 9 in some brands to an 11...lol

I am definitely a sneakerhead. I have a decent collection of Jordans. Those PE VIII's Ray had earlier this year were ridiculous.

Damn. Sold out already. Not usually a basketball shoe person, but for 40 bucks I would have picked them up.
