Now that some of the dust has settled. Here is something to chew on.
It is obvious trades are inevitable.
And knowing that some trades were passed on like Kobe/Dirk and Josh/Pau brings us to today.
No one on the Mavs is untouchable.
So here we go. I think it is time we look at trading Dirk.
Lebron wants to play with Kidd. Lebron plays same position as Josh,
Trade Dirk for Lebron, plus filler and Josh for a PF.
ok, I know cleveland might not want to do this, but what the hey.

I agree it is time to trade Dirk but only for a rebuilding effort.
It would take Dirk and Josh for the Cavs to begin to listen. I'm sure Bass would have to be included somehow as well.
However, I would consider giving up all of that to get a 23 year old superstar to build around.
What?

Trust me, if possible you could offer Dirk, Josh, Jet, Bass, Stack, Damp, Wright, and whoever else to make salaries match for Every bad contract in Cleveland and Lebron and Cleveland still would not do the deal. This thread should be locked because of absolute foolishness.

qft. We have a 0% chance of trading for Lebron.

Lebron James has another three years left on his contract with the last being a player option. I see no reason why he'd want to leave Cleveland right now and no reason why Cleveland would want to move him. If Lebron goes anywhere it's going to be one of the few teams that gets him more money from Nike. Dallas isn't among those teams.
