Seriously, isn't that just unbelievable? If they want to cite that as the reason they lost, then they owe us some rings.

So yet another name from the King's early days in Sacramento enters the coaching world. I've got to say that I was pretty shocked to see that the Bulls are hiring Vinny-D as their new coach...and it's ironic that he beat out one of our assistant coaches for the job (an assistant working under another early Sacramento Kings player turned coach).

I liked Vinny as a player. But the thought of him being a coach never really crossed my mind. Not sure if this was really a wise decision by the Bulls (not that they've made a lot of wise decisions in the recent years).
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

at that time we just had a combinations of bad luck, injures, choking and horrible officiating, also back then the referees didnt seem to be deciding games at an alarming rate as of right now, meaning referees were not the only reason we lost back then.

I know what it's like to lose Championship due to a controversial call made by the officials, so i hope that doesn't happen to any team even if its the lakers, because what happened in the past doesn't justify what happens in the future.

I've read through some of the posts on the Bulls boards and it seems like most think that Pax has either totally lost it, or he has the biggest pair in the league...and only time will tell which is true.

Sure it wasn't the only reason that we lost the series. But I would cite it as the main reason we lost game 6, and if we had won game 6, we would have won the series. And my point was just that it's ironic that some Lakers fans (certainly not all) are saying that they lost game 2 because of the refs when for years, they have basically just told us to "stop bitching" about game 6, and that complaining about the officials is not a legitimate excuse.

Dude I have no sympathy for the Lakers. That team was the beneficiaries of us getting gangraped by the refs in game 6, if that doesn't happen we win that game. We go on to stomp the Nets in the Finals. The refs were the reason we lost GAME SIX, which if we don't lose, we win 4-2. So they're why we lost.

Can we please refrain from terms like "gangraped".

The point is, we have been told for YEARS by Laker fans that the Lakers were "more aggresive" than the Kings in game 6, therefore they deserved the calls...and now, Boston is doing the same thing to them and they are complaining about a conspiracy against them. It's awesome!

Game 6 of the Kings-Lakers series that was the worst officiated game I've ever seen, The Lakers did get most of the calls. However Kobe and shaq are hall famers so they probably deserved some calls, but on the other hand leon powe is not even a starter........

There is an obvious disparity between the freethrow attempts. But Leon Powe went to the line that many times because he was extremely aggressive. The lakers played soft, the celtics didnt. Thus, the huge differential in attempts.

This next game the lakers will have a lot more FT attempts, but not because the officials are giving them calls, but because they will look to attack the basket and be the aggresor this time around.

Then most are going to point out the officials again for giving them more calls, when in reality the Lakers are going to warrant that many attempts

I think Boston will get at least one game in Los Angeles - I'm not expecting two, though.

Went like expected...

Good team victory by the Lake Show

Kobe was fantastic - had that MVP form

Sasha Vujacic was above-average, played real well

Celtics should of/need to trap Kobe more.. I didn't like those last two or three defensive possesions against Kobe with just Allen on him

Perkins did a very good job defending Pau Gasol

Game 4 should be sweet
