I only ask because I'm tired of other uneducated posters guessing what the Pistons need and wasting my reading time with their mocks.
No, we don't need ANOTHER PF because Rasheed and McDyess are old. We already have Jason Maxiell and Amir Johnson.
So, what position do you need the most help at? Does it *look* like you have a glut on paper, but your organization has strategically planned it this way?
and which players do you have in mind? If you have equal needs PG and SG, for example, and Brandon Rush and Ty Lawson are available, which do you take? As a fan? As the concensus pick from your team's board?

Kings
A superstar first and foremost, but beyond that....
PG and PF are our biggest positions of need. A SF is a possibility but only if it's clearly BPA.
Specific Players
PG - DJ Augustin, Russel Westbrook, and if a different pick is required, or we move down, Ty Lawson.
PF - Darrel Arthur, Marreese Speights, Anthony Randolph, and if he falls (doubtful), Kevin Love.
The most likely scenarios that seem to pop up come down to choosing between Westbrook and Arthur/Speights (or occasionally Randolph).
I'm personally pretty torn over all but the Kings board really seems to like Westbrook in general.

Knicks
Team Needs
Franchise player, BPA, speedy pass first PG who can execute SSOL, shotblocker who can run the floor
Specific Players
In no particular order (and assuming possibility of trading down or acquiring another 1st rounder):
OJ Mayo - by some freak chance he's still around at 6, he'd obviously BPA.
Jerryd Bayless - speedy PG that supposedly trains with Nash and who is in love with D'Antoni's style.
Anthony Randolph - long, athletic, multi-skilled player who seems ideal for SSOL and who has a high upside.
Joe Alexander - pretty much blew everyone away during workouts and could be another perfect fit type with some good upside.
DJ Augustin - probably the best pure PG in this draft after Rose and could definitely run SSOL.
Nicolas Batum - extremely high upsided player with great athleticism, skills and IQ, limited playing in a molasses slow system in France could explode in D'Antoni's uptempo system.
DeAndre Jordan - physical specimen type that is high reward high bust potential, might be worth taking a risk.
Serge Ibaka - obviously the athleticism would fit and the shotblocking would be killer but the upside is also very high and could blossom into a star NBA PF.

The Bucks have a need at every position. If you go by who the Bucks have worked out and what the GM has said, small forward will be where they look in a few weeks.
Randolph
Green
Alexander
I smell BS and I think we see a pick not many expect. Hammond has almost gone out of his way to let people know that SF is the route he's going to take; I simply don't buy it.
