THis is a great read. Makes you appriciate Leon even more. It also shows how good a drafter Danny is. He took a very small risk in taking a guy like Leon at 49. :clap:

This has got to be the first time the word "Kool-Aid" was used literally in a sports article.

Also this is great: "Surprised he shot more free throws than the Lakers? I'm not. I've seen him MAKE more free throws than any other Pac-10 team ATTEMPTED in a season."

Great article. Powe is an amazingly appealing guy.

But you know what? There's also one possible slightly negative takeway, which may dovetail with reasons Powe doesn't play more despite his obvious gifts. Benson portrays his friend Powe as a guy who does more talking than listening.

Great article.

Powe has impressed everyone since he's gotten a chance and I'm glad the rest of the country is getting a chance to see it.

As far as Benson goes, I've always enjoyed reading his blog. He's very witty and always comes across as genuine. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him writing for Page 2 sometime.

This was a good article. Benson has proved himself to be a pretty good writer. Better than me by far haha. And yes Powe has impressed everyone since he started getting even just 5 minutes a game out there on the floor. He has a lot of energy.
