Yes, Hill's injury was a HUGE blow. He's the team's best all-round player and was having a great season until he got hurt.

It's hard to beat the defending champs (who had home court advantage) without your best all round player.

Don't the Suns have a new coach that has never had a winning record in his extensive NBA coaching career? I give it 1/2 a season until Shaq starts his "give me a real coach" antics. The only way the Suns have a chance to win it next year is if Paul, Kobe, Deron, and Duncan have season ending injuries.

Honestly... drop the injury card. I could use the excuse too when we were playing the Lakers. We were significantly better... just like the Lakers were better than us.

Doubtful. No depth, weak bench, coaching change..not a happy time right now.

The Suns window of opportunity has passed. They screwed up that window big time by making stupid personnel decisions.

i don't think nash would be a liability in a halfcourt team. he would still be one of the best point guards.

it's just that i think an uptempo game, one that is in the top 3 fastest paced teams, is one of the reasons that pumps up his offensive stats.

They need to make some changes to get more balanced as a team, and still some more versatile offensively (legit above-average creative wing-player). Still too reliant on Nash to run their offense. Actually have to get their 3PT shooting strength and depth back - that's dropped off bit by bit since two seasons ago, and moreso before the Shaq trade, and even moreso after the Shaq trade.

No. And while I know a lot of people disagree, I've never thought they were a credible contender.

Suns window is shut tight.

Hawks have more of a shot winning a title than the Suns do
