Worst injury you've ever seen.

Post#1 » by T-Spot » Tue Jun 10, 2008 8:58 pm

I was just watching the Shawn Livingston injury and felt a little of my lunch working its way back up my throat.

What was the worst basketball injury you've ever seen?

Enough said.

The Livingston injury is the worst one I have seen. I had just got through watching it. :(

I think the Livingston injury was definitely the worst for me. Following that would be when Jackson Vroman came down from a dunk, landing on his hands and when he got up his wrist was folded like a piece of Origami.

Here's a link. I don't really know how much they show in this clip because I don't want to look at it. I just copied the link quickly. Didn't want to see it.

I don't want to look at these injuries, but how does the Livingston injury compare with Theisman and McGahee?

:)

When it comes down to injury a Milan fan should always remember Marco Van Basten with gloom. :(

Oh BTW the worst injury ever is this and it's not even close! http://www.dailymotion.com/relevance/se ... eg_extreme

I was watching NBATV and there was this guy that played in the 60s or 70s who fell and hit his head and felt fine at worse but it worsened and he eventually became paralyzed and died from it. He only played 3 years but he was pretty good too.

Probably not the worst I've ever seen, but most awkward.

Not the worst, because he came back soon after...but the grossest probably.

I think the reason the Livingston injury is so scary to me (not sure about you guys) was that it was just from a routine action--he just landed wrong. There wasn't any contact. He wasn't doing anything stupid. He just went up for a layup, landed, and demolished his knee. Could've happened to him, could've happened to Kobe, could happen to you. Freaky.
Hello ladies. Look at your posts. Now back to mine. Now back at your posts now back to MINE. Sadly, they aren't mine. But if your posts started using Optimismâ„¢, they could sound like mine. This post is now diamonds.

I'm on a horse.

Yeah I know that was crazy. I don't remember. Did he make the layup?

The grossest was Livingston.

The worst was Gathers.
