The game that doughnagy said was fixed by the NBA. I can't find it on youtube.

Specifically the 4th quarter in which the Lakers shot 27 free throws and the Kings 9. Wow, 27 free throws in one quarter!!

I know. That game was conviently skipped over. Perhaps removed by the NBA for copyright infringement.

I'd love to watch the 4th quarter of that game again if someone has the video.

I mean I always suspected NBA was trying to give LA Game 6 to force a Game 7 (that's actually a regular NBA tactic, one time Sheed actually got a fine for suggesting the refs were gonna HELP his team win a Game 6 to force a 7 game series for ratings), and they saw their plan slipping away, so they lost perspective and went into overdrive, hence Game 6 being that one game that can't be rationalized away by "the refs in the NBA are just bad".

Game 5 of that series is like badly refereed games in today's NBA fans. Fans of the wronged team say fixed, everybody else writes it off as yet another example of NBA refs being bad at their job. Game 6 was so blatant that everybody other than fans of one team think it was rigged.

Game 6? Go watch game 5.

Shaq with 18 shots and only 1 free-throw attempt. Crazy.

In Boston Powe was getting that call, even though it wasn't really a foul.

So you're suggesting that the NBA rigged TWO games in the series, not just ONE, for their own benefit?

THATS EVEN WORSE!!!!!!

haha powe had two shots blocked this game 3 that would have sent him to the line in game 2....the refs are horribly inconsistent.

Man people are so young that they weren't able to watch this game when it actually happened. Good for them too, they couldn't watch the biggest screwjob in the history of the NBA.

Probably. The steal from 2 feet out of bounds with seconds left in a close game 5 in the Mavs/Rockets series in question is close, imo, (although imo the decision to call Yao for breathing and having players tackle him had a greater effect throughout the series).

And there IS video of that game.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eY8qGHU52E

This was the series in which JVG went public with the ref treatment of Yao, Cuban's influence on same, and was fined a hundred grand and threatened with being banned from the league as a result.
