Pacers Draft Board: #21

Post#1 » by Scoot McGroot » Tue Jun 10, 2008 3:31 pm

Sorry about my absence recently from the boards. I'd like to keep this going just a little bit longer if we could.

10. D.J. Augustin
11. DeAndre Jordan
12. Danilo Gallinari
13. Marreese Speights
14. JaVale McGee
15. Kosta Koufos
16. Darrell Arthur
17. Joe Alexander
18. Chris Douglas-Roberts

I say Brandon Rush because now that Kareem is probably gone it would be nice to have a shooter.

Rush.

After that, I'm starting to think Hibbert. Probably Hibbert will be a career backup, but he is a fundamentally sound guy the size of an aircraft carrier, meaning that he could help most NBA teams, including the Pacers. I could see him having a Brendan Haywood-level pro career. That wouldn't be so bad at this stage of the draft, would it?

I voted Chalmers because I liked the name...Mario Chalmers

:dontknow:
I have no idea what you're talking about, and clearly, neither do you.

Rush this time around, but Chalmers is a close second for me. I had originally voted for Chalmers and then realized at this point the best player available is probably Rush.

I gotta go with rush. Looking back over our selections, how in the world do we have Joe Alexander at 17? AFTER Kosta Koufos??

Probably the same reason why Danilo Gallinari is 12th on our board. SF's are just lower ranked on our board as that's about the one position we're set at.

I'm going with Brandon Rush. Solid all-around game.

I agree, our big board is pretty horrible. It looks like Rush has this locked up so there is no point in voting this time around.

I voted for chase, the SG who's 6-7 and can shoot from anywhere.

Just saying.
Rest in Peace, Pacerfan

We need to add the "Other" option back to the poll.

I voted for Rush...easily the best option IMO.

"If Jack makes that shot, the game is over." - Tommy Heinsohn after Jarrett Jack missed a shot at the buzzer of a 105-105 game between the Celtics and Pacers.

Sorry, thought I had added it. You're ALWAYS welcome to write in a vote if you'd like, however, at this point, who else would you pick that isn't listed? There's not many other 1st round talents left that aren't listed.
