Both of those players were similarly equipped to play in the post.

Both of those players played in the post.

Both of those players had 10x the success Garnett ever had or ever will have in leading a team...

The officiating was worse this game, they're really trying to hand the series to Boston. KG was literally holding players on possessions.

Pierce nor Garnett showed up tonight nor did Gasol or Odom.

But you can leave Rondo and the Lakers are putting this game away by leaving Rondo and just packing the paint.

That's pretty much the story of what went wrong for the C's.

Kobe was all over the court.

This game was Basically 4 on 5 when Rondo was in.
Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...

I agree with you that Lakers haven't looked like Champions as of late. But so has Boston. They took so many games to get to the Finals, 20 games just to get to the Finals.

They also had the refs give them the previous game.

Both Lakers and Celts haven't looked like Championship material at times.

Boston looked good against Detroit. Ginobili was terrible and that was the only reason they beat the Spurs. Now they're beating an injured Celtics team. Utah's defense looked atrocious against the Lakers. The refs certainly helped as well. I'm not very impressed by the Lakers at all, and am very confident the Celtics take the series.

JW, Barkley couldn't play defense.

You can throw in all internet speak you want, it doesn't change the fact that I am making coherent arguments while you don't even attempt to respond, call me names, and...use internet slang.

You don't even care whether you are right or not. You're ticked off that I'm making an anti-KG argument, and that is all that matters to you.

Ever care to ask yourself WHY it matters so much to you?

well, it is difficult for Garnett to get into the post when Rondo is on the court, and he is used primarily to much as a jump shooter. I really don't know if the Celtics can continue playing Rondo but, House is such a wild card, so you never know.

Doc has really shown is short-comings as a coach, going to Eddie House, who has never played a minute in this series, in crunch time. I wouldn't be surprised if he went to Tony after House starts struggling, or chucking.

According to you, Rasheed Wallace is selfish. David West is selfish.

I guess Kg's commitment to defense means nothing. I guess his passing means nothing. I guess his rebounding means nothing.

What is the point of responding to this guy?

Would Jordan be Jordan, if the guy had zero rings. No, Jordan solidified his legacy by winning.

Yes rings are very important. No matter how much people try to say they are not.

If you were to break it down possession by possesion you'll see it was the difference between scoring 100+ and scoring 81... that and Pierce being in foul trouble the entire game.

This guy isn't even making an argument, he's just spitting out nonsense. Look at his reasons for saying Kg is selfish.

"He does go in the paint more?"

Are you sane? Isn't that a tendency? Or not being aggressive? How does that equate to selfishness.

Actually, I posted in this very thread that I think KG has been and is one of the top 5-10 players in the game.

Which has absolutely zero to do with your disagreeing with the idea that KG hurts his team because he'll only play his preferred way.

If you can't respond to this, you are only going to further embarrass yourself.

And yes, Wallace is selfish to a degree. He ought to do more in the post, it would help his team a ton. West, not so much. He does a great job of maximizing his talent for the good of the team. We aren't talking about an interior dominator in West like we should be with KG.

Hilarious. It was 20-20 after one and Garnett was missing many shots. At least Rondo passes. It's much better than Cassell coming in and putting up one bad shot after another.
