Cassell should never touch the court unless he is warming up or giving his teammates high fives after a timeout.

Bill Russell is selfish for shooting 44% on his career. What a selfish bastard.

Why do people misspell Cassell's name wrong?

Good win by the Lakers, but I don't know what to think of this game.

Basically, the backcourt won the game for the Lakers. Kobe, Sasha, and Farmar all had good game. Where, though, are Gasol and Odom? Those two were on fire for the past 4 months and they are MIA now.

Doc Rivers' coaching...LMAO.

Yes.

But Barkely doesn't have network-sponsored halftime ads (and they are ads) where Bill Russell tells him he's proud of him.

And Barkely didn't do KG's "intensity" act, leading the mainstream fan and media to believe he is something that he's not.

Everybody knows Barkley didn't play defense. But at least he didn't think that screaming into the camera every couple of plays would make up for it...

Steve Nash is selfish?

If you were to break it down possession by possesion you'll see it was the difference between scoring 100+ and scoring 81... that and Pierce being in foul trouble the entire game.

It very well may have been a good decision, but Kobe guarding Rondo doesn't cause players like Pierce and KG to play like total scrubs on the offensive end and it isn't going to happen again no matter who Kobe is guarding. Kobe was great and Boston just didn't have it tonight.

I think Cassell could be the best defender to play the game if he puts his face in the opponent's face.

Hilarious. It was 20-20 after one and Garnett was missing many shots. At least Rondo passes. It's much better than Cassell coming in and putting up one bad shot after another.

Only because Rondo scored on a couple broken plays and hit the rare jumpshot. The chances of those things happening consistently were slim to none... as you saw in the next 3 quarters.

If you knew anything about me, you would know that citing a poor shooting % today from an era where shooting %'s were much poorer than they are today wouldn't fly with me.

And what exactly does Bill Russell's shooting % have to do with KG not hurting his team by refusing to play in a way other than the way he wants to play?

You can't answer this, and you know it...

Boston looked good against Detroit. Ginobili was terrible and that was the only reason they beat the Spurs. Now they're beating an injured Celtics team. Utah's defense looked atrocious against the Lakers. The refs certainly helped as well. I'm not very impressed by the Lakers at all, and am very confident the Celtics take the series.

Yeah they call us soft... the Celtics are tissue paper man, it's always some drama queen getting injured. But yeah I guess it's cool if you want to use your players hurting themselves as an excuse.

Do you know what Doc is asking of him? Maybe you are just watching poor coaching resulting in low production. I assure you that if Van Gundy was coaching the Celts, Kg would be in the paint dominating.

Once again, you are confusing being a ballhog with being selfish. There are ways to be selfish other than being a ballhog. I mentioned this an hour ago, but you chose not to respond. Are you having troubling comprehending the idea?

But I'll humor you anyways.

I think Nash tries harder on defense than KG does at sacrificing his preferred way of playing for the betterment of his team. Especially since Nash at his best is still a poor defender, and Garnett at his best is an unstoppable force the likes of which the league has never seen before...

KG plays however Doc rivers tells him to, and anyone who thinks otherwise is a moron. Doc said himself "I told Kevin, be aggressive, when you have an open shot, take the jumper."

Should he play in the post more? Sure, but he's had coaches who want to utilize his game all around, and make him mix it up, it's not like doc runs the post up play every time and KG just runs away from it... he runs the pick and pop to get KG an open jumper.... should he not take it?

He took some bad shots tonight, it happens, he's far from selfish, get over it.

Went like expected...

Good team victory by the Lake Show

Kobe was fantastic - had that MVP form

Sasha Vujacic was above-average, played real well

Celtics should of/need to trap Kobe more.. I didn't like those last two or three defensive possesions against Kobe with just Allen on him.

Perkins did a very good job defending Pau Gasol

Game 4 should be sweet

I've been watching KG for a decade. This has nothing to do with Doc Rivers. Nothing.
