Really? I wanted Brewer. Look how well he has done in Utah.

Yes, he's done alright. Ronnie Brewers are in every draft, and I thought we should take a risk on a defensive C.

Shoot, Damien Wilkins is like Ronnie Brewer, and in this draft I'd say Brandon Rush, Joe Alexander and CDR are all like Ronnie Brewer too. Not saying I wouldn't like one of them on my team, just they are ALWAYS available.

I just want to point out that if we do want to draft Bayless, please trade down and draft him. Let me get that point clear.

Here is my list:
1. Rose
2. Beasley
3. Mayo
4. Love
5. Brook Lopez
6. DJ Augustin
7. Joe Alexander
8. Danilo Gallinari

and

probably better than Bayless in the long run

9. Brandon Rush
10. Marreese Speights
11. Chase Budinger
12. Robin Lopez

Have you ever seen Danilo Gallinari play a single minute of basketball any where at any level?

No. but his clips looked very good. He looks like Tay Prince. I seen alot of Bayless and I think he is overly aggressive. He can shoot the ball and drive it in but other than that, he doesn't do anything special. His team doesn't exist when he has the ball in his hand which is NOT a good thing if you are playing PG.

Speaking about the last 4 years or so drafts, the only poster I remember that evaluate talent really well is SonicTecture. He nailed it with a few players. Al Jefferson, Josh Smith, Parker, Roy, Danny Granger, Rondo. The only bad player he was high on was Wayne Simien that I could remember.

Brewer would sure look good in a sonic uniform right now.

I remember booing, as David Locke tried to calm our fears.

I was in the Kirk Snyder or Jefferson camp, when we took Swift I almost crapped myself. I can agree with tecture most of the time, except I remember saying Marcus Williams would be better than Rondo.

I thought Sweez was the one that was really high on Simien.

You are not the only one who thought Rondo wasn't much. I thought that was the biggest reach other than Balkman. Speaking of Renaldo I remember Spike's reaction, it was hilarious.

As for the 05 Draft when we were at 25 I wasn't looking for much but thought that the Sonics might draft Nate Robinson. I remember being completely shocked that he was picked there. The only other player left that I thought was worth anything was Ronny.

As for 06 I along with everyone else thought Brewer but in the back of my mind I really thought they might draft Thabo just for the fact the previous 2 years they took foreign players. You can look at nbadraft.net mock from 06 still http://www.nbadraft.net/index.asp?content=mock2006

I also thought Thabo was a possibility and I preferred him over Brewer and Carney.

In 05 I really wanted Jack or Roko Ukic (who ended up going in the 2nd round)

I would've liked Thabo in a Sonics uniform...actually I'd still like it.

...I wonder what it'd take to pry him from the Bulls.
