I dont know what it was but Doc was definitely a factor in us losing this game. He let the Lakers set the tone the entire game and never tried to combat that.
Why on earth is Kobe getting double teamed with Sasha sitting wide open in the corner waiting to take a shot that the entire world knew he was going to hit before he even had the ball in his hands.
The broadcasters made a great point a lineup with Allen handling the ball and Pierce and Posey on the wings is something that could have worked.
Ray Allen one on one on Kobe Bryant? Really? Were they conceding then?
Yes KG and Pierce went 8-35 and that's what ended up being our downfall, but Doc made some bad decisions tonight. He needs to make the adjustments over the next 48 hours.

How about the team's best two players settling for jumpers and shooting a combined 8 for 35 from the field? Doc might have a say in getting them to try and drive for better shots, but it's a stretch to say he's the one at fault here. Many of us have been hoping KG would just take it to the basket on whoever is guarding him, because he's far more successful when he does. Maybe some of that is on Doc, but more of that is on KG. Pierce has been stellar up until tonight. If he has another one like tonight, then we are in bigtime trouble.
Still, I have to say, there's no excuse for Powe not being on the floor for more than 6 minutes. That's just not right, IMO. He only had 1 foul... Get him in the game, involve him. He's a low post presence that could have negated such terrible shooting nights for KG and Pierce.

Clearly I had a poor choice of words there as I did go on to make my points. It was actually supposed to say "I dont know what was with Doc but he definitely was a factor in us losing tonight".....not that it would have made a difference, and then as I did originally went on to make my points.
Plain and simple everything he did tonight was playing to LA and their game plan. Rather than execute his game plan all he wanted to do was counter them. Powe clearly dominated them in game 2, is he going to do that every night? Probably not, but Doc could at least give him the chance to rather than stick out players that he thinks best counter LA's attack.
Stick to your game plan. Execute your game plan. Make them adjust to you, not the other way around.

In reality I support Doc and have been happy with his coaching these playoffs and the entire year. For someone to say that a HEAD COACH, in ANY SPORT not just basketball, was a FACTOR, in their team LOSING A GAME doesn't mean they are bashing the coach, it's kinda stating the obvious.....

This is just dumb. Doc didn't make KG and Pierce suck tonight. He didn't sprain Rondo's ankle. The only move I feel he should not have done is take Allen out in the 4th. That was just dumb. I could see for a brief time, but I feel he left him on the bench too long (more than a minute) and Ray never got it going again. Also, not sure why on Earth they would play Rondo on Kobe. That just seems dumb. Make the Lakers adjust. But in no way is he the reason they lost. KG and Pierce are the reason, hands down.

Didn't like the defensive disorganization the last two minutes. He should have kept a tmeout to organize the offense last two minutes.
Still, he has done a good job. Has been better than Phil Jackson.
Inserting House was a good halftime adjustment. Rock and hard place here. House can't initiate the offense, Rondo was ineffective even before the injury and was hampering the team, and Cassell is a chucker.
We should draft a PG in the first round. That's what I think. We could use Jordan Farmer as our backup.

Blah, this one was 100% on the players. Are there little things I would have don differently, yeah. I probably would have left Rondo in but who knows how bad his ankle was and House had played decent enough to get another look. JVG kept calling for Rondo to be pulled to stop the roaming, but I thinkleaving Rondo in and letting Rondo create would have been a better solution. We can't always take the ball out of Rondo's hands in these situations and I thought it was a mistake last night.
I would have like to send a double on Kobe but I don't really think its as simple as that esp when we got buned on a previous couple of plays. But really nothing Doc did was egregious. Well except not fouling with 17 sec on the clock and only down by 6, WTH was that?
Ultimately Paul and KG were taking horrible shots last night. Defensively we had a pretty good game, so it was up to our stars to make better plays, not miss dunks, hit FT. Doc can't do that for them

We didn't play smart. We stopped giving the ball to KG down low, and calling Ray's number. Pierce didn't have it, and he made too many mistakes late in the game.
I didn't like the substitution pattern when we were finally playing well in the third/fourth quarter. As they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

why wasn't garnett in the post more in the first half, that seems like the best place for him in the offense
