Mark Jackson on ABC

Post#1 » by TMU » Wed Jun 11, 2008 2:44 am

Is anyone sick and tired of Jackson's commentating? This guy is probably the most biased commentator in the industry.

Please watch your language. Thank you. canman

I don't mind him. I like his chemistry with Van Gundy, who is my favorite national commentator right now.

He and Breen.

By the way, **** Spike Lee. A) For his douche comments about Clint Eastwood's Iwo Jima movie, and B) for jumping ship and becoming a Fakers fan. In an arena full of Fakers, he might take the cake.

Van Gundy is an A+. Breen is a B+. Jackson is a C+, insert generic cliche' here, cliche' here, and cliche' here.

Yeah, Van Gundy is terrific; both as a coach and as a commentator.
It pains me as I hear Mark Jackson who keeps talking about the Lakers and how good their players are.

If you got Jackson alone with Kobe who knows what he would try to do to him.
I can't stand the guy.

Meh, he is not so bad. KB is good, what do you want him to say?

Mike Breen is truly terrible. Why they have not entered mike tirico is beyond me. Breen not only is biased against us. But he makes big deals out of abseloutly nothing. I love when he goes on a tangent and starts talking loud, then asks marc and JVG what they thought of the situation, and marc and JVG talk in a way like its not a big deal at all.

Yeah...but that is everyone. Name a former player who will downplay the KB love fest? I don't think there is one.

Marc and JVG work well together. That barbershop bit was hilarious.

I like Jeff but I don't like Jackson at all.
They should put someone else in there that isn't 100 percent for the Lakers.
Even when Tommy did national tv in the 80's he wasn't biased against the Lakers in the finals vs the C's.

Yeah, Biasm sucks. But a good color man, who is unbiased, is hard to find.

God I hate how bias Breen is every time Vujacic did something it was like he was having an orgasm or something screaming VUJACIC!!!!!!!!.
Its so obvious these guys (Jackson, Breen) are on the Laker bandwagon, its like they are surprised we made it this far and are up! Everything is Kobe this and Kobe that!!!

What about Jon Barry? When is he not in favor of the Lakers? I remember during the regular season he and others were ranking their MVP candidates and, not surprisingly, his top choice was Bryant. Didn't he only play for the Lakers for one season? Yeah, I'm sure that he isn't another former player that still holds a grudge against the Celtics.

Funny how all 3 guys on the series are/were affiliated with the Knicks. JVG and Jackson work well together, that's the only saving grace. Breen is a piece of ****.

I'm as big a homer as anyone but I haven't had any problem with these guys.

Breen and all of them were on Leon's jock in game three, just so happened that Sasha got hot and Breen was riding his jock, it's really his job to play up the excitement and to anyone but a Celtics fan that was a nice display of shooting.

Personally I like these three guys and I have not seen one OUNCE of bias out of Mark Jackson.... He gives the props when they're due, period. He was big upping PP in game one, so on and so forth.

Not much to see here, I just think fans with a direct link will find anything to pick apart when you're used to listening to Tommy and Mike.

It is definitely noticeable that in every round of ours he's covered, Breen openly pines for the other team. We'll make a spectacular play and he gives a verbal shoulder shrug, but they'll make an easy layup and it's the greatest **** play ever!

And Mark Jackson is a dope...Van Gundy's beatdown the other night when he compared Powe to Dr. J was priceless!!

Why not pair Van Gundy with Dick Stockton or someone else who actually KNOWS basketball and isn't a moron?
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

My biggest problem with Jackson is the cliches, I haven't really noticed bias

JVG is awesome but I'm starting to think he and the poster JFS are the some person given their hatred of Rondo.

Breen has taken some of the most ridiculous positions I have ever heard during this playoffs.
