Can either play defense? Can Charlie play center? They both appear to score, but we dont see mil down here in these parts much.

I would say mavs can do better, and fill the hole they are making.

Agreed. Rather have Redd.

I wouldn't mind the trade if the pick weren't protected, also Mo Williams is too similar to Terry. The same thing bucks fans say would be the same thing we say, you can't trade Terry or Williams to the same team. Also I don't think this trade would work money wise because Howard makes about 2-3 million less than the combined contracts of those two players.

I would rather the bucks offer Bogut and a S&T of Voskuhl for Howard but that is not very likely at all. I would even throw in a pick or two if they were second round picks.

With the first offer, if the bucks could throw in Ramon Sessions I would be a little more willing.

I see no need for Maurice Williams and Charlie Villanueva plus the pick doesn't get Josh Howard. Charlie Villanueva would be nice to have as a role player, but he's not a defender, and the trade doesn't really make the Mavericks lineup stronger.

LOL........

Sure, how about you keep the pick and add a Stack/Bogut swap.

I dont mind the trade, but I also dont watch to many Milwaukee games and cant comment too much on Williams or Villenueva... I am all for trading Howard for youth players though, so I think I would accept the trade

Dallas would want to consider a Stack + JET for Redd addendum to the deal.

I think it much more likely that some sort of Howard for Redd package gets proposed this summer, especially if Milwaukee selects a SG in the first round. Dallas could also make the Redd contract disappear, the trick would be getting the kind of young talent/picks package Milwaukee would want in return.
10:20 (pm, 6/29/06) The Mavs take Maurice Ager at No. 28... Ager walks up to the stage in a triple-breasted, oversized beige suit, goes to shake hands with Stern and immediately gets whistled for a foul on Dwyane Wade.

as a Bucks fan I do not think this deal makes sense for you guys. Mo is very much like Terry (although his game may be a little more rounded out - but they would be redundant none the less), and would be a waste to trade for with you still having Terry and Kidd. Even though I think CV would be great in your style (no he doesn't play much D, but would be great filling in the offense when Dirk is out), it really doesn't make much sense.
