Tim Donaghy, who pleaded guilty to charges of betting on games he officiated, is now airing NBA's dirty laundry.

Ex-NBA referee Tim Donaghy told the feds two refs fixed the outcome of one playoff series - and that officials were told not to eject star players from games for fear of hurting ticket sales.

The bombshell allegations are contained in a court document filed Tuesday by Donaghy's lawyer. It describes the

Stern won't fall. NBA is a good ol boys club. But it does tarnish his rep for sure...

Who woulda thunk it, the guy responsible for me losing lots of $$$ on the Kings/Lakers series years back would be on my side now...

Kings and Lakers was the first series that poped into my head too. I hope this does bring David Stern down.

This and the whole OKC fiasco. I want David Stern out!

This really is a huge deal. If Donaghy can back this up somehow I don't see any way Stern keeps his job.

Wow! I can't say that I never suspected this! I think everyone here remembers a certain series vs. the Suns when a game was decided by the refs.

To hear this in sworn testimony is another thing entirely. I can't imagine Stern holding up under this kind of pressure for long. Especially with his mismanagement of the Seattle issue.

I think you talking about this game Ben.

Suns had 64 free throws against our 34 in game seven of the western conference finals in 1993

Or was it Spurs/Suns from a couple season ago?

You were right the first time NW, I will never forget the anger I felt after that game.

To make David Stern's nightmare worse it now seems that the FBI is investigating the league's most senior official, Mr. Dick Bavetta:

A request by ESPN.com to interview Bavetta was denied Thursday by the NBA, as was a request to view the officials' postgame report from Game 6 of the 2002 Western Conference finals -- a game Donaghy has alleged was refereed unfairly to ensure the Lakers and Kings would meet in a Game 7.

They're so guilty it makes me sick.
